Locked out of apartment in WP was quoted over the phone at $ 55 ($ 30 for the service call and $ 25 to open the door) and would be there in 25 minutes.
After 35 minutes the serviceman called and asked if we were in Brooklyn after we gave the phone operator our location and zip code. After another 40 minutes, the serviceman arrived and stated it was going to be $ 240 to open the door and $ 150 to replace the lock. After bringing up the $ 55 quote, the serviceman smirked and said «that was for lobby doors» even though we clearly said it was for our apartment door on the phone call. Serviceman said for cash, he would do $ 240 to open the door and $ 60 to replace the lock. Too tired and frustrated to negotiate anymore, I headed to the ATM.
$ 300 bait and switch, got me good guy.

ok so I called these guys, becayse I lost my car keys there advertisement is a lot cheaper
thank what the actual price is, I ended up paying more but f I went through the car dealership it would have been a hassle band maybe $ 20 bucks cheaper. These guys are pretty good they come to your house and do it all so for convenience 4 stars for piece 2 stars that why they get 3 stars.

It’s Sunday morning and the locksmith just left. No extra change for the weekend. Fixed my old lock and didn’t try to sell me anything new. Very personable and clean. Price was reasonable. This is my official new locksmith.
