This evening has been an adventure to say the least. In my 45 years of been alive I have never been escorted and banned from a restaurant base solely on the word of a hostess. My hubby and I had the misfortune of choosing Outback in Waldorf to eat. The hostess was the absolutely worst. This is a long story so in short I asked to speak to the manager to inform him of the subpar reception we received from one of his employees. He was very apologetic he offered us drinks and appetizer which were delivered to the table. After 15 minutes or so the Waldorf/Charles County police showed and asked us to leave the premise and barred us indefinitely. To our shock we left of course. But Jason the sympathetic/pathetic owner just should have asked us to leave. Instead he opted to humiliated us as we perp walk out of the Outback. Seriously its Waldorf is over a dozen places to eat and spend our money. So I believe this is not a really good business decision on his part. Because any function I or my friend, family, sorority or colleagues wish to have, I will vehemently discourage them from going to Outback, Bonefish and Carrabass based on this one person’s action or rather inaction. I wish there was a no star rating because that what their action deserve. .So if you are ever in Waldorf and plan to wait an hour plus for poor service from the owner and staff Outback is your place. Lesson learned is if the restaurant isn’t on open table I won’t be a patron.
