I just filled two prescriptions for transitional lenses. The prices are much much less then LensCrafters and the six other optical stores I visited in Scarsdale and White Plains. When I asked how long their sale was going on for, I was told it was endless. The owner said people need prescription lenses and can’t afford them, and he wanted to accommodate. Their selection of frames was extensive, and there is absolutely no reason to pay extraordinary prices. I waited for one hour at LensCrafters and was not even attended to upon my first visit in Scarsdale! This store has a sale for transitional lenses with the frames at $ 99 per pair, unheard of. Check it out if you were as disgusted as I was by the attitude and prices of other competing stores.

They have a nice selection of frames. Their prices for frames & lenses are MUCH better than places like LensCrafters & other stores on Central Avenue. There really isn’t any reason to NOT check this place out if you are shopping for glasses on central ave.

I decided to join Unilocal and start writing reviews solely because of how HORRIBLE this place is. If I were you, I would never go to this place. I learned my lesson the hard way. I went there recently to get my eyes exam for contacts since the price was relatively reasonable. But when I entered the place, I knew why it was cheap. The place is old and unclean. The doctor didnt even wipe the equipment before making measurements and was even guessing on what my prescription would be rather than taking accurate measurements. They also ordered the wrong samples for contacts and told me that I have to wait 3 weeks for the correct sample to arrive. Do yourself a favor and dont get your eyes exam here.
