This review is for Neka Hair. she does a phenomenal job with hair color. She listens to you and delivers exactly what you asked for. I’m still trying to learn her quick Blowdry skills.

Stay away from this woman. Got a groupon and made an appointment over the phone. She was rude but I didn’t think much of it.
I have long hair, (not too long) but also not short. As soon as I said I am going to a wedding and I need a trim+blowdry (specifically mentioned in the groupon), she said well u have to pay 15 $ extra because ur hair is long (no such a thing in the groupon). but i had no choice, it was 4pm and I had to get ready for the wedding that night. she did an okay job, FULL OF ATTITUDE. at the end I gave her the groupon to scan and before i get a chance to get my wallet out she again said: «I said it will be 15 $ more»
I gave her a 20 and she said 2 times: «Do you need your change?»
finally I said no keep it (which I regret now) but what can I say, I am not used to these shameless rude type of people.
All I can say is that do not go to her for your business. Completely unprofessional and CHEAP/​RUDE in nature!

I went to Neka’s with a groupon deal and she was a sweet lady. She was flexible and fast! She did my hair in 45 minutes when it normally take me 2 – 3 hours and for a great price. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating is because she missed the very front part of my hair when straightening it and she charges an additional $ 15 for hair that requires a bit more work, although, my hair is short. Other than that she cuts hair VERY well and gives great pointers for hair care. I would personally like to go back.

Never knew this gem existed! Located next to Walmart/​Burlington parking — I didn’t know about the Breezeway so it was slightly annoying to walk around the entire block — but it’s located inside a glass building on the corner. I had a groupon for a wash/​cut/​blowdry for Nekas Salon. Neka did an amazing job in a short amount of time. I was very impressed with the set up, cleanliness and most of all prices. I def would come back!

This beautiful salon is the new home of Patty’s Hair Garden. Patty is the only stylist I would ever let near my hair. Patty is a stylist and an artist and she has found the perfect spot to pamper her clients in this full service salon with like minded souls on a mission of beauty. The environs are airy and warm and relaxing, the service is top notch and the price is the same as it has always been! Patty keeps her client’s needs in mind by not charging exorbitant prices or pushing pricy products. Everything at the garden is a nurturing experience and I am glad that Patty has found the perfect home at Sola. Come and visit, again and again!

This is a genius concept, few know about this hidden gem! Sola Salon studios is designed as individual glass front studios, independently rented by hairstylists, nail salon techs and an esthetician specializing in skincare/​and laser treatments. I love how you can get all your beauty needs in one place! The parking after 6pm and weekends are free, all other times park in the walmart lot and take the breezeway at 445 Hamilton ave which connects the parking lot down to the lobby which is where sola is located. There is also a street entrance on north broadway! Come see your favorite stylist, nail tech or esthetician who no longer is the slave of an absent boss! They care about what they do because it represents them and they all are great at the different techniques and specialities they do!
