My husband loves this place. $ 12 for a gourmet pizza is a good price plus they are so so good. Just keep in mind they’re about 11−12″ so if you’re feeding a family you may spend a bit more. No real dining area, this is a pick up and go Place. Wish they at least had a cooler with some water and regular pop. Just not a fan of only being able to order Italian pop.

The dudes who run focolare are super great. I’ve personally experienced great conversation and above and beyond customer service, the kind of thing you would expect in a small town where your reputation matters as much as your product. I love that they are making/curing their meats themselves and sourcing fresh and local ingredients for their daily specials. It’s always a sad day when the close down for the winter. In a sea of outstanding dining options in the Gorge, most come with a price tag consistent of an economy based on tourism. It is so refreshing to see excellent food delivered at an affordable price. I don’t get the sense that these guys are making much money on this, but their business model is based more on goodwill than profit.

$ 12 for an amazing pizza that they make right in front of you and fire it up in their awesome portable wood fire thingy! We had the sausage with slices of tomatoe and I probably could have eaten my very own pie. It was quick and easy to order, pay, and off you go happy as a clam with 1,2, or maybe 3 boxes of pizzas to enjoy at home or maybe a picnic at the park. Don’t miss out on this foodie experience.

Some of the best pizza I have ever had, no joke. Almost everything from scratch, from the mozzarella to the sausage. So. Damn. Good.

Foc-yes! I was super bummed when Solticio moved from its rootsy place in Bingen over to its ritzy new age digs in Hood River, but Focolare more than fills the void. Wifey suggests the Bleu and I enjoyed the Margarite with fresh mozzarella made by them today. Check it out.
