4.5 This is another place I can’t believe nobody has reviewed before! I’m proud to be the first. This is a great park. We rented a cabin for a long weekend. We went with a slightly more modern cabin that had a tv, but all the cabins are not heated and neither do they have AC, so if you can’t rough it even a little bit, these cabins are not for you. But if a little rustic living away from it all sounds like heaven to you, you definitely want to go here. I can’t wait to go back, it was wonderful. Now you’re not totally roughing it. The cabins have fully appointed kitchens and bathrooms, and comfortable cozy bedrooms. There is plenty of wood stacked up in an outside shed for you to build a fire. You won’t get any wifi here, but if you predownload your books, magazines, podcasts, and shows, you’ll have plenty to entertain yourself. And besides, cabins aren’t meant to be for sitting around on your tablet. They are for getting away from it all and enjoying the company of those you love. It’s located very close to Lewisburg and White Sulfer Springs, so there are plenty of places to go out to, and plenty of places to explore in the nearby countryside. Or… just relax and build a fire and bake some cookies like we did one night. The office staff is very friendly and are invested in amking your stay a good experience. They also have some cute little gift items there. I got some really unique earrings there, I love them. So, get away to the wilderness and get back to grass roots. I think everyone needs a break from the crazy frantic pace of life. This is that place, that place where you can just go «ahhhhhhhh»… and set back a spell.
