My husband and I ordered the Beef Phở and my son ordered Lam’s Special(sweet & sour chicken, fried rice, chow mein). The one defining moment to a good Phở experience is the broth and the broth was excellent. The broth was flavorful and everything you would expect. I usually don’t drink all the broth but I did this time. The beef was tender and had good flavor, it was a normal portion. The portion of the noodles was small for the price of $ 8.50. I don’t like the price. Large Phở is typically $ 7.99, small about $ 6.99. I think this is fair, especially that you are going to pay a resort tax in Whitefish. Overall, it was really good but we probably would not go back because of the total cost.

The eggrolls, fried rice, wonton soup and sweet/sour chicken were all pretty good. The Phở lacked flavor and only had a tiny amount of chicken. It also had oil floating on top, making it pretty much inedible. Thought the portion sizes were fine and did not seem too small.

I eat here quite a bit. It’s good, as long as you keep in mind that you are in a side-of-the-highway type of Chinese restaurant. They put these disgusting pressed pork pellets in some of the meals.

Portions are small and prices are high here. Food is really good, but the only thing that is outstanding is the Wor-Wonton soup. Filled with veggies, wontons, shrimp, chicken, BBQ pork and topped with fried wontons, hovering in a yummy chicken broth. The best in the Flathead Valley! It’s the only meal here that is delicious and a good deal. You gotta try it!

Having a not so good review earlier we decided to try once more. Good food and good portions.

I’m disappointed to have to leave a review like this, but apparently times are getting tough for them and they are doing exactly the wrong things to put money in their pockets. Portion sizes are absolutely miniscule now and my son and I felt as if we hadn’t eaten anything at all when we left. It was as if we had ordered off the kids menu. Sadly, the quality of the food has gone pretty far down hill as well, so after years of going there, I’m at the point now where I won’t be returning.

Very good food that adjoins a Bar, Gaming area, you can order from the bar area. Outside smoking area through the bar. Take out Ala Carte has always been very good & better yet when you live 15 miles away and your order is correct. Sorry to say like the«China Wall» did to us. Full bar, a LOTOFTV’s, We like to have our food served there.

Tasty food. Good service, they even let us come in when we walked in with 2 minutes until they closed. Just wish the lunch portions were larger.

Best Asian in the Flathead Valley. The Lamb family has been kickin’ a** and taking orders here in Whitefish for 15 plus years. I’m super picky on my Asian cuisine being from Seattle and I would put the Orient Express up against any of my Seattle & Perth, Australia faves.(Perth Australia has more Asian Restaurants per square foot than Asia actually does. If you’ve been there you know what I’m talking about.) The Satay Beef Noodle Soup is mind bottling. Any of the Sichuan, Kung Pao, Cashew, and Ginger dishes(Shrimp, Beef, Chicken, or Veg) are all extraordinary so you can’t go wrong. Website:

I oredered wonton soup forto go. It came with more than i expected. The food was delicious and also has a lot of vegetable and fresh meat inside. For $ 7.50, it is cheap and one of the best soup I ate in USA. I will come again to Whitefish, because of this restaurant! It is hard to find a good asian food with an affordable price in a resort town. I will order other food, I think it will be delicious too.

We used to come here a lot for the Won-Ton soup. It was our favorite soup in town! We went there just last week, and it was still pretty awesome, the broth was a little different though. A little less flavor in it than before. Its usually always pretty open as far as seating goes. They have good service and its all affordable food too, so it all works out pretty well over all. The only drawbacks are the parking in the winter, when you’ll feel like you’re about to slide right down the hill into the building!

Don’t be fooled by the strange building. The interior is really nice, the food and service is excellent, at very reasonable prices. The best hot and sour soup I had since living in the US.
