fun to play — our kids had tons of fun playing laser tag however I wouldn’t eat a thing there! Nasty kitchen. Observed stuff eating in the kitchen area. After eating and licking their fingers they proceeded to make someone’s pizza! Yuck!

Had a lot of fun. Was a decent price. They have 2 pinball machines and I love pinball. The guy giving the instructions talked way too fast and didn’t enunciate. It was like he had it completely memorized and just wanted to get through it. As far as the equipment, it was sub-par. Twice I had good equipment and once I had a faulty gun. I told the guy after the game and he said he couldn’t do anything about it and hung it back on the wall for someone else to use the next round. I probably would not return unless I knew they fixed all of their equipment. Probably a good place for a kid’s party.

A friend(22) and myself(25) decided to go be kids for a day and play laser tag. After Unilocaling the closest place, we ended up here. The entrance is a little weird to get to with a bunch of twists and turns, but once you get inside you’re greeted by the front desk. We dealt with two different gentlemen(not sure on their names). They were both incredibly friendly, funny, and made our experience super enjoyable. We ended up playing our first round with a large childrens birthday party where the kids stomped us in rankings. Definitely a blast, even if we didn’t know them. The second and third game were played with just us two. The arena is HUGE and of course dark. With the different obstacles and maze-like set up, it is actually pretty scary snooping around looking for one person. We ended up unintentionally scaring each other so bad so many times that we almost lost our voices. It was a total blast. The prices are great, staff is friendly, and the games whether with a huge group or just one on one are incredibly fun. We will definitely be back and bringing friends. Thank you Planet Trog for letting us be kids and truly enjoying it!

Came out here with my sister and husband tonight for laser tag. The nicest group of guys run the show; great customer service experience. Tonight they had a special where if you bought two games you played a third one free. Had a really great time no complaints about anything!

Planet Trog has been around for more than 15 years and I have been there at least 100 times. It started out as a small arena. Years later it expanded into a HUGE warehouse with an all-new arena. There are two sides, a rocky –forest side and an industrial-urban side. Personally, being on the urban side is easiest, there is more cover than the rocks and trees on the other side. Games are usually consisting of two teams who battle eachother. You cannot kill your own teammate, unless they switch the game mechanics. Each team has a base which can be shot by the opposing team. Shooting it enough times destroys it. The team with the destroyed base won’t necessarily lose, but it gives the other team members 10,000 points each, so it’s hard to recover from that. Many people will play the game and just try to destory the base, or they will hide in one spot. That just ruins the game for them, why pay all that money to sit in one spot. Here’s the good. The black-light, painted briefing room is done well and it lets your eyes adjust before going into the arena. The arena itself is huge, so they’ll be lots of places to go to. There are also secrets(shooting certain areas gets you sheilds, etc.). You are given one bomb every minute and when used you are invincible for a few seconds and able to destroy a group of people if they are standing together. They have food, massive TV screen, and video games. This place has the best guns(when they work) of any laser tag I’ve been to. The bad: The place isn’t heated, so during winter, expect to freeze until you start running around in the arena. Then the cold is very welcome. The guns are great, when they work. Most of the time they do not. They seem to not fix anything there. You have to pray you get one that works. Sometimes the teams are uneven so they will direct you where to go, even if it means splitting you from your friends. People cheat like crazy. Years ago people weren’t such jerks, but now people cover their sensors, bend down to hide sensors, hold the gun over their sensors and pull the trigger in a way not intended in order to take you down quicker. Basically it’s a free-for-all, the rules are ignored, so if you try to follow the rules(like me), it’s hard. They used to play Busy Child during every game, but now it’s just random music, and sometimes it cuts out before the game is over. Lame. They recently changed the city side of the arena, but made it worse. Dead ends and more windows for people to shoot you from. bleh Overall, this is still the best laser tag in the area and the best one I’ve ever been to. It’s the guns, they are awesome. Machine guns, and not the cheap grocery store scanner ones that most places have. The arena could use some work, as recent changes made the city side almost as unbearable as the forest side. The ambience in the waiting room could be changed to look less cheap. The guns should also be fixed if there is a problem. Oh yeah, they also have mini golf, but no one ever plays it, and a closed dance club.
