We went to their Douglaston location at the ICC. If your child is remotely afraid of water, do not send them here. It’s traumatizing for them to say the least. The instructors are young and immature and do not think twice about tossing your child into the pool even if they are afraid and are screaming «No!» We spent 2 semesters here and with the freezing water, my son did not learn a thing. Now we’re at Saftswim and within 2 months, my son has no fear and is jumping in the pool w/​o hesitation! The instructors here are better equipped to deal with small kids.

My daughter takes a swimming class there. She has so much fun. The instructors are friendly and make up class is easy to arrange. Easy to find parking and the water is warm enough for a four years old girl.

Excellent swimming classes! Glad they have many schedules to fit in our schedule. Location & teachers are terrific. Prices are reasonable.

My sons go to their Chaminade location. Their instructors are professional and really know how to work with kids.

Close to home (Richmond Hill) and friendly instructors. My son has learned so much in such a short time…

If I can give a NEGATIVE star, I would definitely give a –5!
On the first day when registration opened, I registered my child for one of their Friday night swimming classes. At that time, there were still a few spots available. When class started in September, they realized they overbooked that class. And after the second class, a lady from the office called me (yes, they picked my child) to switch to another class. (I wonder if they had called another parent and the other parent said no.) They told me that I can either put my child in a later session or go to a different location. I was furious. At the end of the conversation, I just asked for a refund. She said «no refund». Really?! So she wants my child to switch to another class or location when they overbooked the class and when I don’t want to and ask for a refund, they wouldn’t refund me the money?
And the best part was that the lady cursed at me on the phone. And she was telling one of the people working in that office that she had to deal with this bullshit. Wow — how do you respond to that if you were me?!
Also, if your child is not feeling well and can’t make it to class, you must present a doctor’s note in order to make up that class. Hmm. what if I didn’t take my child to see the doctor because she has a cold. Well, too bad! Money down the drain…
