I completely disagree with the 2 negative reviews. First, both are from
far-away places [Old Bethpage & Jacksonville Fl.]. IMHO these reviews are BOGUS. I walked in with my own frames that needed to be repaired and new lenses. I received great service, fair pricing and my glasses were ready in less than 1 week.

I have been getting my glasses here since they opened. Steve Benjamin is very knowledgable and helpful. He has lots of choices for frames and glasses. I always feel important and cared for here, not like at a large chain.

I completely disagree. They were very nice to me there, gave me a contact lense exam with the discount of what my insurance pays for a regular exam (which they do not do elsewhere), didnt push going outside what was covered AND tried to give me a discount on my contacts but couldnt compete with the price I got with vision direct so he told me to go ahead with buying them online without trying to bait me into buying them there. I used to work at an eyeglass store so I know the deal… overcharge, push to go outside what insurance covers and definately do not let them leave without buying theyre contacts there. I would definately reccommend this place, that is how you do good business.

This place TRIES to be nice, but in the end the customer service is terrible. The reps are nice to you unless you decide to not purchase anything from them directly on that day. All they do is try to get your money! I’ve called a few times during the afternoon 2PM and they never pick up. And when I do get through they seem very frazzled and peaved that you are trying to get information from them.
Not only that, the wait there is awful– poorly organized with employees who can’t handle the demand (although there really aren’t too many) they are just a money hungry group.
Will never return again!
