Although they tend to employ local high schoolers during the year, the service is always phenomenal and the food is hot. I’ve ordered «To-​Go» a few times and it really looks like they try their hardest to make sure the food you take home is hot and fresh! Great pit stop off the highway for some good food.

It has been over a decade since I have eaten at a Cracker Barrel. My friend and I were having trouble finding somewhere different to eat in the area.
I ordered their Saturday special of chicken over brown rice pilaf with mushroom gravy and 2 country vegetables. I chose the fried apples and dumplins because they seem to go together. The entrée came with biscuits or cornbread, and I selected the biscuits with grape jam. The main dish was good. I did not think I had liked the dumplins but wanted to try again; this time I realized it was the flavoring and not the dough. The apples were not as fried as I expected, and the peel was still on the apple making the texture while eating weird. For under $ 10 and looking at the meal as a whole, it was an OK meal.

It was my first time to visit Cracker Barrel. I ordered Sunrise Sampler. With advice of adding sugar to grits it tasted much better. Bacon and sausage were a bit salty for me but over easy eggs were cooked perfectly and their biscuits were excellent. Staffs were very friendly, smiled and made an eye contact. I was dining alone but they made me feel comfortable. Andre and Caleb, thanks for taking care of me.

Definitely the best Cracker Barrel I’ve been to. Stopped by for an early dinner during a road trip and the greeter was friendly and complimentary of our two young boys. The bathroom is newly remodeled and is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, and has great features (like a generous purse shelf above the toilet in the ladies’ room). All of the employees were wonderful: the greeter, hostesses, our waitress and every other wait staff I observed. Even the manager came around to check on each tables’ meal. The food was great, service was attentive but not too frequent, and the whole restaurant was clean and well managed. Top notch.

We caught the after church crowd on Sunday at lunch time. The place was busy, but the food and service were both good. Exactly what you would expect from Cracker Barrel. I found out they have free refills on their bottled root beer!

This Cracker Barell is better than any other I’ve been too, great service, great food, and a great price. Travelers and regulars are treated alike and that’s fantastic. What more could you ask for?
