I hate to write this review, but after tonight’s visit I must. I had a burger there last night. The burger was good and well cooked. I was watching the cook prepare my food. I am no germaphobe, but the lady touched our ready to eat food with her bare hands. I observed the same woman smoking a cigarette earlier. This is completely disgusting and I will never eat at this place again. Use some gloves when you are touching food.

A fun place with an interesting blend of towns people and college students. If you’re looking for a quiet place you should probably look someplace else, as this is a college bar as well as a town bar with inexpensive drinks and specials as well as good burgers and traditional Wisconsin Tavern food. I will go back with friends and/​or my wife.

If you are in Whitewater, you need to go here. No ifs, ands, or butts about it! Massive burgers sandwiched between two slices of texas toast. Fried delights such as onion rings and cheese curds and bloody marys so tasty you’ll be begging for more. It is a bar, but our family including my son and mother-​in-​law were able to get a table and enjoy our massive lunch there. There was also a christening party there with a baby in tow as well. The owner was there behind the bar cooking and clearing tables and entertaining as well. Great place, great food, great people!
