Capri’s Pizza

This place has some of the tastiest fried chicken in the city!
It’s crispy, flavorful, and never dry!
I’ve also has their side salad, fried mushrooms, and buffalo shrimp, which weren’t that great. The salad was just iceberg lettuce, a slice of tomato, and some cucumber slices… mushrooms were a little soggy. And the buffalo shrimp were just ok.
Nothing fancy or special about their décor. Just some really good fried chicken

Just placed a order this evening…
Clearly said All pepperoni, half sausage, half jalapeño.had it repeated to me, Twice. and after waiting Over a Hour (yea, it’s the Weekend, I get that!)…Of course my Pizza was made Wrong & it was Clearly not Entered Correctly! (See picture of Ticket)
Then to make matters worse, when I call in, the girl who initially took my order, attempts to compete with me saying that «i did repeat myself. and maybe I miss heard you!?»…a ya think???
And I know what I Said… And I know what I Heard… and that’s Clearly Not what was Entered in the system…
Then all I can get to Correct the situation is to Wait a additional 30 mins. to Another Hour for my Pizza to be replaced. Oh and 4 $ off my original order price
(25% off of a 23 $ bill + tip… is what I was told)
*(which Was Not even given to me by the Different delivery guy with the replacement pizza!)
(and of course, this was Only done after I asked several times to speak with the Manager. Which I never directly did!!).
Seriously…After all the times I have ordered and raved about Capri’s & all the Money I’ve spent over Years of ordering from this location. and that’s it! Huh!!! This is how treat your Loyal customers… Okay!
Well, if getting a simple order correctly is too much to ask. I’ll just take my business elsewhere.

Best Pizza in NWI. Old Chicago neighborhood style. Generational quality. Great chicken too. Ask for the hot sauce.

Although my favorite Capri pizza location is in South Chicago the Whiting location is great. I see a lot of negative comments but I can honestly say we order pizza from Capri’s at least once a month if not more and never have any problems. The delivery can be a little laggy but if I want my pizza fresh out of the oven I drive my happy butt there and pick it up, usually ready in 20 – 25 mins…

What kind of pizza place opens early and doesn’t offer pizza slices. One star because none is not an option. Very disappointed.

I’ve had Capri’s pizzas multiple times over the years at events, but I had never really noticed the pizzas were from Capri’s until recently. I’ve mostly had their standard-​crust pizza, which is a thinner and crispier crust than the average pizza – my family’s preference. I’ve had their margherita pizza from their Schererville location, and today I had a custom mushroom-​pineapple one, which was actually a very good combination and about $ 20 for XL. I walked into the small, homey store front today and noticed how many workers and customers were there – very popular place on a Sunday evening. The price is pretty good in comparison to others around, and even my mom (not a pizza fan) enjoyed it. As I try more items, I’ll add more details.

Capris customer since momma gave birth. Moved back to the area, well done, thin and crispy pepperoni on top. The best but these past two times just wasn’t the same. Must have a new guy in the kitchen, fire that fool or I might have to call Beggars, and I sure don’t wanna do that. Hot and BBQ Sauce on the side… GIMME DAT

Great pizza! Carry out or delivery only can be a let down when you want a pie straight from the oven. I was disappointed when I called to order and found that they don’t serve Chicken Parmesan Iike the Schererville location does. I will continue to order but probably eat out at their Schererville location where there is a dining room and Chicken Parm!

Love the pizza and chicken! My kids favorite pizza place! No room for dine in but that’s ok delivery is perfect for a movie night. Highly recommend it! It’s delic

Good pies, good beef and good pasta, you can’t go wrong with any of those 3 choices. Place has been around forever so that says enough.

I had some fried chicken and it was great, the outside was crunchy and the meat juicy.

Ok i have mixed feelings in writing this review. Living in the area and growing up with Capri’s its always been the go to pizza spot but lately they have been seriously screwing up! Ordered a mushroom/​pep large pizza for delivery 1hr and 30mins later our pizza arrives and its cold! I feel like over the years this place has gone downhill. They need to upgrade their delivery time and customer service skills. Who wants to eat a cold pizza?! Beside that flavor and freshness is always on point. Pick up is about 20−30mins but If you order for deliver, expect over an hour!

We just had a bad experience with Capri’s, after we waited a year to order after another bad experience! Had to Unilocal it this time.
We ordered two pizzas, fried vegetables, bosco sticks, and fried shrimp. Order was placed at 6:30, arrived at 7:30.
One of the pizzas was made wrong.
It was supposed to be sausage and onion with mushrooms added to one half and pepperoni added to the other half.
The order taker put it down as half mushroom and then a quarter of that half with pepperoni.
Not too complicated: each side was to have three toppings.
So at 7:35 we called, got a manager who apologized for a trainee’s error, got the order straight, and offered to exchange the pizza.
Forty minutes later, now two hours after the original order was placed, we swap pizzas. The delivery guy apologizes and tells us they lost most of their staff to a violent bar fight and the new people can’t handle the job yet.
Wow, that makes me feel uneasy. Didn’t need to know why there was turnover in the kitchen.
So he leaves, and we open the replacement pizza. The ticket is written correctly this time, but the pizza is screwed up AGAIN!!!
This time, both extra ingredients were added to the same side. It was not made as the order ticket was written!!! AAUUGGGHH!!!
So we call and ask for a manager to let them know after two tries it is still wrong. We don’t want to wait for a replacement. The woman is so sorry. Just sorry. Even after explaining we are trying Capri’s for the first time in a year because of a past screw-​up, still just sorry.
We should have received a refund for the screwed up pizza. Didn’t get one.
Ten minutes later she calls and offers us 20% off our next order!
Do you really think there’s going to be another order? NOT A CHANCE.
The food is average at best to begin with. We won’t bet on them to get our order right ever again.

Hawaiian pizza, what can I say I’m that chick. I enjoy their fries and the regular pepperoni pizza. One thing I was slightly disappointed was their mozzarella sticks, don’t get me wrong they are good, but it doesn’t give me that wow you normally look for, yet I still get them.

Capri’s pizza in whiting should have a photo of my boyfriend and I on their wall. We literally are their #1 fan. We order from there at least twice a week, if not more.
Their pizza is amazing and their baked mostaccioli is delicious also.
Their staff is awesome and welcoming!
I’m about to actually go order some pizza and French goes now.

They are DELICIOUS, reasonable, and have AMAZING customer service. I’ve been a loyal customer for YEARS. My husband and daughter prefer no other pizza
We’ve also catered from them several times before and their catered food is also DELICIOUS and well priced. Me and my guest are always satisfied!

Pizza is always good, not mind blowing but better than the average pizzeria.

Outstanding pizza. While I strongly suggest the stuffed, the flat is also great. I’ve been enjoying the pizza for years. DO give them a try.

Pizza is hardly consistent. Sometimes it’s perfect, other times too much wine in there sauce, or to sweet, or the crust is dry and hard on edges, and at times it’s great. I know it’s always different people who make the sauces and dough, etc… But consistency is key. I quit ordering after my last 4x’s was disgusting. And I have been ordering from them for over 7 years, but not anymore.

Very good pizza, bad service. The girl never picks up the phone, she is rude. I ordered a pizza and told her I had a question and she yelled at me: «i told you if thwt completed your order!!!». I said: forget it!
The next question to be asked was: i need you guys to cater a party for 80 persons!!!
The drivers seem to have just came out from jail!
