Fabricare Cleaners

I’ve used this place for cleaning for about 8 years now off and on. I just recently needed a new pair of uniform pants hemmed for work. These pants were brand new. I tried them on once just to test the waist.
I’m pretty confident when I dropped the pants off to have them hemmed they were fine. But, I can’t be absolutely sure for a fact the small tear on the waistline was my fault.
Someone else picked up the pants for me and put them in my closet. Now, I can’t be absolutely sure that it wasn’t their fault for the small tear on the waistline.
But when I went to wear the pants and saw the tear, I took the pants back to the cleaners. I asked if they could fix the small tear that looked like the pants just got caught on the edge of something and pulled the seam loose.
She said yes… for five dollars. I asked why she would charge for such a small thing that probably happened there at the shop.
She informed me it was IMPOSSIBLE for it to have happened at her shop and she refused to fix them for free.
I will never go back.

Even though I gave them a week my suit wasn’t ready. No apology, no explanation: just, «it isn’t ready». And they advertise «same day service». I just hope it is done tomorrow.

Obviously this place has changed hands. My husband went in today to have a pair of pants altered and the man at the counter told him that he (my husband) had to take the measurements at home and bring them back. *SMH*

I recently needed a suit cleaned and decided I might as well have a couple other things cleaned as well. I believe I brought two other items, and I thought that they all looked spiffy in the end, lemme tell ya! And for suhhhch a bahgaahn, I tell ya what! Only thing is they almost took my purple hanger, but I’m not going to hold that against them. She did find it after all, and I just think most cleaning places just take hangers so if you have one that you care about just don’t bring it to the cleaners I guess. The way they probably see it is that they give you hangers of theirs to make up for it. I don’t know.
Anyways, I would recommend Fabricare to anyone. It is very affordable and they do a great job cleaning. It’s very convenient when an event takes place and your trying to do a million things at once.
