Love this place. Owner is super friendly and the food is great. The large burrito is enough to keep you full until the next day.

By 5pm on Sunday(granted, it was the Super Bowl), they were out of steak and pork. Thus, I got chicken in my taco salad & my wife got ground beef in her burrito. The chicken was cooked fresh, but not so with the beef – both were bland, and the beef was mushy. My taco salad was also more of a burrito in a taco shell bowl; there was more rice than anything else, and I had to dig to find any lettuce. I have never in all my years had rice in a taco salad, so was a little off-put. The final straw was the chips and guacamole. The chips were flavorless and oily, the guac was mostly onions, at least, that’s all I could taste. I don’t see ordering from here again – there are much better options.

Yassssssss just found a mexican restaurant that made this non mexican food eater a believer!!! Fresh fresh ingredients seasoned perfectly. Corn tortilla chicken tacos and shrimp enchiladas were bomb! Thanks avocado for a well recieved meal.

Really good food! Good portion sizes and friendly staff. My only complaint is that if you go later in the night(ie 7ish) they don’t have much meat left and will not make it for you. I asked for beef tacos and was told that all he had left was steak. I told him I would strongly prefer the beef but if not that yes I would take the steak. He ended up giving me steak out of convenience. Not a huge deal, but could be disappointing for someone going there specifically for a certain menu item.

I have only gotten the burrito there but it was excellent. Chicken was done to order, nothing was dry and everything was seasoned well. Definitely a must try for lunch or dinner.

Friends recommended this place to me as I recently moved close by. It’s a little off the beaten path, but well worth checking this place out. Restaurant is nothing fancy. Menu on the wall has the basic Mexican foods. Prices are reasonable. Ordered steak burrito to go. Make sure you are hungry as it was a generous serving. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! Avacado’s is a place I’ll be visiting often.

Really good Mexican out in the ‘burbs in the little town of Whitman. Avocado’s is a small restaurant with delicious food thanks to a two person team turning out tasty favourites fast. I tried Avocado’s for the first time last night around 5 pm and the place was very busy with a mostly younger, hipster crowd who know their Mexican. I ordered two burritos, one carne asada and one polo, both delicisioso and both huge. Their guacamole was probably the best I have ever had and made the way guacamole should be made. Try the Taquitos — you will love them — spicy ropa vieja rolled up in corn tortillas and toasted up, doused in crema and served with pico. Avocados is well worth the drive whereever you’re coming from. Reasonably priced.

It was amazing. My husband and I popped by to finally check this restaurant out. The food is hot, fresh and AUTHENTIC!!! The guacamole was delish. We both had a burrito and we could have shared one! I don’t know why it took us so long to get here, but we will be back soon. Well done, Avocados!!! Thanks, Hungry Coyote! Leslie and Wayne R. Whitman, MA

Website says open at 1030am, so my husband goes to get food and ends up sitting in the«parking lot» for 35 min until they finally open… They open at 11am, FYI. Then they tell him he can’t have what he ordered because the rice wasn’t cooked and the fryer wasn’t ready. The taco salad was a joke, it was a shell with rice, a bit of steak, lettuce and tomatoes… And the guacamole is not guacamole but rather avocado salad. No Bueno! Totally disappointing, and after the reviews were so good… OH and the parking was confusing and lacking.

Very simple the best Mexican food you can get without a plane ticket. Portion sizes are big and prices are small, Combine that with the flavors … And you can’t go wrong. I highly recommend the steak taco salad …

I’m giving it 5 stars based solely on the food and the fact that it is super vegetarian friendly! No hidden meatiness in the rice or beans. Thumbs up on delicious veggie burrito goodness! It is not fancy so don’t plan on wining and dining someone here on your first date. Unless your first date consists of delicious Mexican take out and a viewing of Half Baked on your couch. Awesome for a quick lunch break stop. Good stuff. Really good stuff.

This last visit to Avocados was the best ever. We asked for plain avocado, instead of guac on our burritos. They honored that and all of our other requests for ingredients. And they were the best burritos ever! Their beans are really good. My only suggestion: Lose the TV.

Chipotle who? I would like these burritos in my mouth right now. The meat is flavorful and the flour tortillas are seared on the grill which infuses them with more flavor than just steaming them. Next time I’m visiting the family in Whitman I will be going here for lunch. My only regret is that I don’t have enough money to have this man as my personal chef in my house.

Don’t let the appearance of the exterior fool you. This place has the best mexican food around. I had carne asada tacos, my wife the pulled chicken tacos. We shared a plate of rice and beans. With two sodas the meal only came to 21 dollars. Well worth the price, they could easily charge more. Portions are large, we both left full. We will certainly be back again and again. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. I should also tell you the food comes out lightning fast. Awesome meal.

The ONLY word you need to know is «YES»!!! Friendly, authentic(not a lot of cheese and sour cream), and filling portions. YES!!!

This is real decent food. I’ve ordered quesadilla, nacho, and enchiladas from them and have not been let down. So many restaurants have failed in this location but I hope this one stays. It’s more of a take out place unless you really need to sit down.

This place is authentic Mexican food. When you ask for hots, it is really hot. The rice was done right, beans were amazing. The portion is out of control. If you are hungry, get a burrito. I dare you to finish the whole thing in one seating. Torta is filled to the brim. Both Carne asada n al Pastor is well marinated n grilled to perfection. Get there now if you want great authentic Mexican food.
