Pest Detective

Ok I have to add an update. I had an unfortunate financial situation and was not able to pay my bill this year. With the customer service oriented company he runs, he still came out and helped me check out the property and do treatment without payment. I offered to payment arrangements but he would not accept and told me not to worry about it!
My original review got erased when I added mmHg update. To summarize. After having another extrrminator come in my home and Spray over the counter chemicals everywhere on my house, he never found the sources our diced my termite problems. That is why I called about. My wife found him in the yellow pages I believe do we took a chance we were NOT sorry about.
Scott was always there when we needed him, on time, on budget with estimates, very reasonably priced, and had a nice personality (wearing a smile — you don’t see that often!) He even have the kids a couple dollars each for a family trip we went on. Who does that? He does!
Anyway, he found all sources of the termites and caught activity in the tasks and out in bait. No more winds all over my basement note new holes in the woodwork. If you want the job for right the first time, call Scott! As I said you won’t be sorry!
His regular extermination for general bugs is «awesome too»

This guy took my money for 6 months of service to get rid of rats that had taken up residence in my garage. He was supposed to come back weekly to check traps. He NEVER came back. Or answered or returned my phone calls. We ended up getting rid of them ourselves but paid $ 200 for 2 poison traps and 1 snap trap. Total ripoff.

After 2 years of horrible service, I finally had to end my relationship with Pest Detective. They never come when they are supposed to. I always have to call them to tell them they missed us again. They always lie and say something about «I thought I came» or «didn’t I leave the invoice in the mailbox». The last time they came was October of last year. I didn’t call them until end of May. They came and didn’t check all the traps. I called the owner to tell him he didn’t check all the traps and he said he did. And I told him I know he didn’t because he didn’t move the mulch. He said he didn’t know there were traps under the mulch. Um, he installed it so why wouldn’t he know and why wouldn’t he check. He’s lazy! I told them the service has been horrible for 2 years and I might have to end the contract and the owner says, «That’s fine with me.» Very professional.
