Bed bugs!!! This place has a tick infestation and the county health inspectors have been alerted. We had an employee find ticks all over his chest. When he swatted them, they exploded with blood. Management completely blew him off and refused to call an exterminator or even get him another room. He actually showed the bugs he trapped in a plastic bag and they would not refund the room. This place is the most irresponsible and reckless health hazard in the area.

Paid almost double for the room because of the Michigan game !! The room was clean, bathroom on the grimy side, towels like sandpaper… but they offer a Full buffet for breakfast, would stay here again but not for $ 190 when their prices are $ 90

We got a jacuzzi suite hotel room for Valentine’s day. The friendly staff was very welcoming! The pool was a great amenity and the breakfast was great! The thing we loved the most was how very pleased with the size of the jacuzzi tub. I would highly recommend it. :) — The only thing that i wasnt aware of if the rooms have outside entrances so we had to go outside in the cold to get to and from the pool and breakfast. Other than that it was great.

My boyfriend & I were passing through & have stayed at other Best Western hotels & had great experiences but our stay here was deplorable. Dirty sheets, dusty & there were other«customers» lingering outside my door & partying. Honestly if it weren’t for me having my boyfriend with me I’d of been afraid. Just a bad element of people that were up to no good. We had to get new linens & remade the bed myself. I’ll never stay there again. When I said something to the employee it was ignored. Guess they’re only about the $$

Okay, let me preface by saying I booked a room here for $ 56 on Priceline. I am pretty aware of what $ 50 gets you in the hotel world. I wanted a place the kids could swim that wasn’t too far away and I could score on the cheap. So, we ended up here. What I liked: The pool(indoor) is large with lots of seating/tables around the perimeter AND a dry sauna. There are bathrooms in the pool area for easy changing, too. Also, you’ve got to have a room key to get into the pool. Nice. The water was warm, the pool was pretty clean and we had it to ourselves for hours. The rest of the property? All of the staff was really, genuinely friendly. Coffee in the lobby was hot. Room was clean. Lots of options for the free breakfast(sausage, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, waffle maker, yogurt, cereal and milk, bagels with cream cheese, bread/pb/jelly, juices… for real!). I liked that our room had a microwave and mini-fridge, too. Really handy. What I didn’t like: Residents can apparently swim at this pool at certain days/times, so I had to share the pool with a brood of wild children and a couple of old people attempting to do water aerobics. Eeek. And, the entire property is showing her age. The place REEKS of cigarette smoke, which I’m guessing is from all of the construction workers who are hanging around smoking(rooms are being renovated). Also, I didn’t realize this ahead of time, but it’s a MOTEL – no internal corridors or elevators. And, the clincher… we tried watching cartoons when we retired for the evening, but after a few minutes of viewing a channel, a message popped up saying that the bill needed to be paid or the cable is going to be shut off. Classy, right? So, would I go back? Maybe.

I travel 200 days a year for work, so I see a lot of hotels. I stayed here 10 nights & Its a very nice older, but remodeled hotel. Clean, quiet, every room has a fridge & microwave. Jim is the owner of 20 years & could not have been more kind. He was always there, and accommodating to every need! It’s almost on Whitmore Lake, & has perfect freeway access. As far as price I booked on Hotwire for $ 58 a night. I highly recommend. It! Say Hi to Jim for me, he’s exactly what a customer service orientated business owner should be!

The room was not very clean and the cleaning service was absolutely horrible. I would not recommend to stay at this hotel. The bar/restaurant across from the hotel was fun. Decent food and good atmosphere.

This is a nice hotel for the price, although, microwaves are available on request only. and if you have a pet you must let them know. Even though they are ‘pet friendly’, the manager charged us 100 bucks for having a dog and not telling them. I have never had to at other hotels and I travel consistently with my job. Also, we stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. Our price was 69.99 a night. Our total should have been $ 950, but they took off $ 1520 off my card! They stated this was for the deposit. That’s one hefty deposit. Just a heads up!
