I hadn’t been to this course in a couple of years, but decided to give it a try. It was well worth the trip! They have new owners now, and we had a very nice round of golf. The layout features some nice holes and(mostly) big greens which are pretty fast and tend to be sloped. The course is pretty flat, with the front nine having mainly trees to navigate around, and the back bringing water into play more often. The back nine is definitely harder than the front! The greens were in good shape, and were consistent in their speed. With the slope, a couple of greens won’t hold the ball if you hit the front edge; be careful with your distance on the approach! Fairways were nice and the ball rolled well. If I had a complaint it would be the tee boxes being chewed up a bit, particularly on the par 3s. Otherwise, conditions were nice. The rates were very good, well below many of the other courses nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful. It looked like they had fixed up a few things in the clubhouse since my last visit. Definitely worth a return visit!
