Extremely good food and a warm and welcoming environment. The first time my boyfriend and I went here, we sat and had dinner at the bar and chatted with the owner for over an hour. Great people working for a family business, never had a bad experience here!

We stopped here on our long drive back from Ithaca to Long Island over the weekend. I googled places to eat and this place was one of the few non fast food options. The place was like walking into your great grandmother’s Italian old home. It had an odd smell but I got pasted it. We waited a long time for our waitress who was scary happy to serve us. I had a spinach salad with chicken which wasn’t anything to write home about but it was OK. The coffee I ordered was just boiled water, had no flavor and I had to do to Dunkin nearby to get my fix. All and all, one of the non fast food options so it is what it is.

I would give this place 3.5 stars if I could. A cute little place that we stopped at because we didn’t want fast food. We sat for a while before our waitress came over to us, who was weird… I just can’t explain it. Anyways. This place was a bar/pizzeria/restaurant so they had an extensive menu. We wanted to get on the road so we just ordered simple things. I started off with the French onion soup which was delicious! After that I got the chicken parmesan panini. It was eh. It didn’t really have much flavor but the burger looked good. So did the pizza. I would recommend sticking to those.

What a pleasant surprise this restaurant was! During our road trip in March at the end of the day we were looking for a decent place to eat at 9pm at night. After we pulled off the interstate, my travel companion suggested we eat at this restaurant, I made a «you’ve got to be kidding me» face. After a long day of driving through New York State I wanted a good well prepared meal, and just our luck I thought it was going to be typical road-side fare; luckily, I was willing to walk through the door and see what the restaurant offered. Well, to my pleasant surprise, the restaurant had authentic home made Italian fare. We both ordered chicken dishes, mine was the award winning Saltimbocca and my companion ordered Marsala. Our dishes after 9pm was as fresh as one would expect at the beginning of service at opening hours. My broccoli was freshly steamed with just the right level of tenderness. Our sauces were amazing, not overly seasoned; we were able to actually taste the flavors and enjoy our dishes. The portions are copious, so by the end of our meal, we were both pleased with the unexpected discovery. We had a chance to speak with Charlie, one of owners of the restaurant. Charlie is a very gracious host, we spoke about wines, Italy, the restaurant, and more. It was like we had know him for along time, he reminded me of experiences I had at small restaurants I had visited in Italy. Charlie, thank you for the wine recommendation, I have your note on the desk waiting for my trip to an Italian wine cellar to find a bottle. If you ever find yourself around Whitney Point NY, looking for something to eat, try Aiello’s Restaurant. It is homemade Italian cooking, with sauces, fresh mozzarella, even down to their breads made in-house. I will definitely stop by the next time we are in the area.

Great stop off 1 – 81 on way to teachers convention in Rochester. Good burgers and Italian food. Dinning room was very nice as were booths and high tops.

Started with potential Stopped while getting fuel off 81. Atmosphere is nice. Cream of mushroom soup was good. Beef tips marsala were awful. No flavor, beef was chewy … sauce was nothing but water.

The moment you walk in you are family… always a cordial greeting from the owners and staff. The food is ALWAYS delicious and portions are more than generous. As for me, I cannot get enough of their mushroom soup, even though I do not need an appetizer with the portions they serve. A frequent dinner companion never likes any restaurant we eat at, but can’t stop raving about the food here. A perfect score all across the board.

Best restaurant in town — hands down. Their buffalo sauce and blue cheese are both homemade from oils and such that they have imported from specific little shops in Italy and they’re both fantastic.

Six months after my initial review, we had an opportunity to pay another visit just after Christmas. I am happy to say the gnocchi recipe has been restored to it’s original awesomeness. My son and husband report that the pizza was excellent. Our server, Jodi, was wonderful. Thanks for listening. We’ll be back.

A hidden gem and a must go to restaurant. Inside there is a formal eating area, take out section and bar. People travel from all over to dine here and if you live in Binghamton, it is well worth the drive.

The food is great, but the service is extremely bad. They are incredibly slow. It took quite some time for us to be acknowledged at the door, and another long while before we were seated. Multiple parties walked out.

We order out from here probably once every two weeks. Their food has been consistently good over the years. Their garlic nots are very unique and not something you can get anywhere else. They are huge and are tossed in garlic butter, if I had to guess. Their subs good, fairly standard. Pizza is great New York style pie. Wings are very enjoyable. I can only really review the take out side of things. We never really stop into the restaurant to sit down for an actual meal. It’s usually more on the expensive side. We just love getting food from here when we are all tired from work, and wasn’t to drive up the road to get done great good to take home. Will absolutely keep coming back for years to come.

There is an interesting phenomenon that occurs across the state, the pizza slowly becomes more Buffalo style the further you travel north. On the pizza spectrum, from Buffalo Style to New York Style the pizza they serve here is about 75% — the crust is a little too doughy. Otherwise, the pizza is pretty edible despite its mild floppiness but the sauce is essentially flavorless. The personal size is two person size and was more than enough shared with a bowl of soup and some beers(they have a small handful of craft taps.) They did charge $ 4 for adding prochuttio and I wouldn’t have been so offended if it wasn’t over 50% of the pizza’s prce but the hostess took a few bucks off and I was happy. They also make pretty good Lavazza espresso!
