Your standard rest stop on the way to upstate and to Canada. Long lines, clean bathrooms, and according to my boyfriend, cheapest prices for junk food that he’s seen across rest stops nationwide.

We’ve been to this McDonald’s twice on our way north via I-81. Both times have been absolute disasters. :(One of the times we waited more than 20minutes for our order… at a «fast food» restaurant. There were many disgruntled customers, some of whom were so frustrated that they demanded their money back and left. Add to that that it’s in a not-so-well-kept travel plaza/gas station and it is just a disaster.

Great McDonald’s location in the small, yet lovely town of Whitney Point, New York. Very ideal location for stopovers on the way to Buffalo/Canada. Small town charm and kindness of employees add to it’s overall great rating. Restaurant is part of mini-mart complex with a convenience store built within the restaurant.
