Amazing work and caring service. Bruce is truly an artist with an eye for picking complementary colors and frames. I brought him what could best be described as dusty tattered messes from my parents garage. One an oval shaped curved portrait with the frame and glass long broken away. The other an aboriginal painting on bark. But we’re in bad condition. Bruce thoughtfully evaluated each one, gave suggestions with beautiful results. If you want real craftsmanship and artistry come here.

My fiancée took in a page of Gregorian chant that dated back to the 1300s, and had a great experience. We were nervous taking such a historical document to Michaels, etc. and Bruce turned out to be the perfect match for us! He totally understood the look we wanted, and took lots of time with my fiancée to make sure she was able to choose exactly what she wanted. In the end, the service was fantastic and the price was lower than just about anywhere else! Such a deal. We will definitely be back!

BRUUUUCE! B Wood is a consummate professional. Bring him your treasures & he will frame them beautifully. My mom has an entire wall of his handiwork; old fruit crate labels mostly but there is nothing he can’t do well. And it wouldn’t hurt to bring him a nice ale or IPA once in awhile! Thank you for your excellent services BW, Whittier is lucky to have you.

I had a treasured Miro poster from the 1974 exhibit in Paris. Rolled up for decades, moved from garage to garage, it had gotten wrinkled, torn and sad. Bruce managed to make it look fabulous when he framed it. Wrinkles and tears were no longer visible and my treasured memento now hangs in our kitchen. He is a perfectionist who does wonderful work.

B Wood Framing & Gallery is a tiny little shop tucked next to a barber shop and behind a mattress store off Whittier Blvd. If you blink while driving down Bogardus Ave. you will miss it. 95% of what we have hanging on our walls has been framed by Bruce Wood. He has done excellent work for us. We have had CDs, posters, collages, a large gyotaku technique fish print on silk, autographed magazines, a family crest, and oh yes — pictures and photos — framed by Bruce. He has an excellent eye for the right color and texture of mats and frames to use for different projects, as well as a great technical ability to frame a variety of items. One of my favorite projects that Bruce did for us was framing a set of three panda pictures taken from my daughter’s calendar pages. Bruce found a mat that had a thread of green in it that complemented the paint color on her walls and mimicked the grass/bamboo in the pictures. He finished them with a simple squared black frame. We have gotten many compliments on them and the other art pieces in our home. B Wood is not inexpensive — if you want cheap you can go to Aaron Brothers. But if you want your artwork framed beautifully and artistically, go see Bruce. I highly recommend him.
