I visited this library for the first time and the service was horrible. The lady who worked at the front desk some to me with an attitude when I asked her if I could sign up for a library card. No help what’s so ever. Deff not coming here again

Small and unassuming little library. But the staff is really nice, and this place seems like it has been here forever! I know there are other libraries near by, that are bigger and have a wider selection, but I like this one because it is a walkable distance from my house. Plus, I think it serves as a community resource for a lot of the local kids in the neighborhood. Often times, I see a lot of kids doing homework, be tutored or playing games on the computer. I’m all for after school educational entertainment in a safe environment. The books are flowing off the shelves, and they have many overflow carts because of the limited shelf space. The layout though is still nicely managed. If I can’t find a book here, most of the time I place a hold online and have it delivered, which makes for a speedier process. They have events here too. Last time I walked in, I saw a flyer for an Aztec event, complete with entertainment and food, geared for adults! How interesting. Parking can get tricky, because the parking lot is very small. It can get busy, but I usually find a space because I’m in and out pretty quickly. I think there might be some spaces around the back though, by the gas station. Overall, come here and read REAL books! Feel the pages turn in your hand and the knowledge wafting through the air. :)
