Don’t come here if it’s 30 minutes to closing. They close earlier than their business hours. What a waste of time.

Went here wanting two things; Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. And what are they out of? Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. How the hell does a fast food place run out of those?! All I can think of is all the sad girls stuffing their faces because it’s Valentine’s Day and they’re single. Never coming back.

I love pollo Loco just not this one. So I given this place PLEANTY of tries over the summer I went it it was extremely hot inside secondhand third time I went time I went drive though was reallllly slow today I decide to do drive though again it was fast this time may even cause it’s new years IDKBUT the girl that took my order was VERY rude no introduction at all not even«would like this» or” would u like to try our new Blau blah«once I did get to the window the girl that handed me my order was really nice and friendly! I’ll stick to my regular pollo loco in Cerritos!

Stopped by for a quick lunch on my way back to the office through drive through. There were about 4 cars in front of me but overall I was in and out within maybe like 10 min. Cashier was nice not rude.

I’m done with this location. They are so incompetent its ridiculous. They can never get it right. I have given them many opportunities because it’s so close to home but today was the last time. After waiting for 20 minutes in the drive thru I get to the window and of course everything was wrong !! The people who they hire to take orders are the worse ever. I can see they won’t be going very far in life I’f they can’t even take an order correctly. I got so upset that I just drove away to chipotle next door. Much better service and no idiots messing up your order alllll the time. I’ll be going to the one down Whittier or Washington blvd. Never again will this place get a dime from me.

I had never been to El Pollo Loco until today. Their drive through was fairly fast, but the staff was not very accommodating. The ordering process is also not very intuitive. However I still got my food and was on my way. I had the 2 piece meal with rice, beans and tortillas. The chicken was very tender and flavorful, and the tortillas were soft. The rice was okay, nothing amazing. The beans were good and I really enjoyed the salsa roja. I could see going back someday.

Here is a tip when you threw drive thru, please don’t not be on your phone and not know what yu want you hold up the line that isn’t fair to the customers that know what they want. and it just makes it easier on everybody, don’t you think? I think pollo loco has pretty good staff it isn’t them it’s the people in drive thru that give them a hard time. they just want to get your food to as quickly as possible. But they have very disrespectful people that try to take advantage. but yet the workers can’t complain to you about what you do? Why do u make their job harder???

I’ll start by saying I love El Pollo Loco. This is the closest location to me. It’s hit or miss. Drive thru service takes an unusually long time. Most of the people are nice, but there are a few who are just plain rude. I consistently get good food here… but I ALWAYS check my order because it is often wrong or missing items.

The service and food at this location has gotten worse in the last couple of years. Portions also seem smaller than they used to be. Most likely will find another location and hope for better service and food, but done with this one. Wonder if management reads reviews.

The guy at the drive thru(was a total dick. He made us rush our order with a very stern«ISTHATALL» and«CHICKENORSHRIMP» and i use caps because that’s his tone of voice. I couldn’t catch his name due to the fact that he wasn’t wearing a name tag. Other then that everyone else was super nice. Food was great and on time

I go to this pollo loco cuz it’s close to my house. I usually use the drive thru and I haven’t had any problems with employees being rude or not getting my order right. But then again I always check my order before driving off just to make sure. I feel like this place is hit or miss with the chicken. Sometimes it’s so good and other times it tastes really old I take it out of my food. I hate what they have done with the tostada salads. I know it’s not a big deal but the red cabbage doesn’t taste good at all, and there’s no way to take it off. They have a good variety on their menu though.

Tried to give this place another try :(yet another bad experience. Today at drive thru, name Diana. If you ask a person if they want condiments and they reply clearly with what they want. Why can’t this girl still can’t comprehend and knowledge my request? Now I’m honestly not picky with my orders a simple order to be exact, a combo. Nothing that is not on the menu. *sigh :(I really tried but this business is just bad as it gets. No wonder they have a big sign all the time ‘NOWHIRING’ these people can’t their job right. Food is cold, drink is warm, no sauces or chips on the combo. Never again…

This was my first time at my new local location. Average El Pollo Loco. My beans were cold and my chicken a little too oily :/. Otherwise it was ok. Usually everything I ever order is amazing from any El Pollo Loco, but I guess this place has an issue with cold food. I guess I’ll find another close El Pollo Loco to visit.

The drive through line was a 45 min wait time. Do yourself a favor just go inside and order. The associates take their precious time! As I finally got to the window I had to wait another 5 minutes for them to complete my order. I kept looking into the window & saw associates just standing around. They don’t apologize for their slow services and some even have a bad attitude. Customers were upset, the drive through consisted of cars honking in hopes to rush them. Of course it didn’t work. Pollo Loco learn how to better train your associates.

There was a hair on my chicken breast. They apologized and replaced it right away. I don’t see any reason for me to return to this location it’s oddly positioned – facing a gate and when you park and walk up you have to come in near the cars in the drive-thru. I think I’ll stick with the Downey location on Firestone near the Stonewood Mall.

I can’t believe the customer service at this El Pollo Loco. 20 minutes in the drive through, the order was repeated 3 times because the kid taking the order was not paying attention, when I got my order the lady at the window was super nice, then I got home. They had forgotten the salad and churros that came with the meal. I called the store and the manager asked if I was upset just because they forgot the churros, obviously she wasn’t listening either so I told her it was two items they forgot and then she proceeded to let me know she could credit me over the phone, how I don’t know since I paid cash. I informed her I would go back and to please have the items ready for me, she agreed. When I arrived I called to let them know to deliver my food to the car as agreed, she told me she would be right out. 10 minutes later, I got out of my car to go get my food only to find they still had not made it. Instead of apologizing she wanted to argue with me about the price of the meal. I told her I ordered my meal and repeated it 3 times to the kid, if he could not press the right buttons to charge me the right price that was not my problem. She proceeded to get the items missing and offered me another side dish for my troubles to which I said no! I got home an hour later after the original time of my order, at that rate I could have cooked the meal myself. Never again! Zero stars, ZERO!!!

Now I get why this El Pollo loco location has such bad reviews. It takes forever to get through the drive thru & the cashier was so rude. If you don’t like your job don’t take it out on the customer. Definitely will not visit this location again.
