Gamestop

Going to this specific GameStop was satisfactory. I got the game that I wanted with some excellent customer service. For example, I was looking for Bioshock on the ps3. I was intending to get the original only, but there was only the case. Before leaving without the game I wanted, one of the employees found me Bioshock Infinite which had 2 games in one. Bioshock (the original) and Infinite for the price of $ 20. :)

It was a slow day and the guy working there did not want to, for the life of him, help us out at all. He didn’t want to talk to us about the item in question or go goto the back to get the product for us to purchase it. Like wtf?!
If he was having a bad day or whatever issues, this is not the best attitude as a customer service rep. No sales from us today.

This place is the number game place to go to. They have a variety. They give you rewards and great games for all consoles of all kinds new or old.

I can’t believe only one person working the cash register & helping people, wait is redicious. They need more help at this store, especially at busy hours in the evening

I come to this particular GameStop because it is very convenient the employees are fast nice and always seem to know what they are talking about I’ve been to other game stops when sometimes they don’t always have a game that i want or they wreak of 12 year old kids that stay inside all day and don’t take a shower and the only time they go out is to go to GameStop. All and all o recommend this place for their service over any other GameStop location

The employee’s here are nice and know what they’re talking about. However, this gamestop always seems to have long lines or to purchase something takes awhile

Joe is a great employee. He knows his stuff knows about the games and was able to answer my questions. He also made some good game recommendations. He let me know which games went on sale too. Thanks Joe keep up the good work.

Worst customer service ever. Was at the whittwood store and they called 3 times because computer showed they had a game in stock. Nobody picked up. Drove down here to check and there was a line about 20 deep.
When we asked the kid walking around restocking (Andrew) to check so we didn’t wait in line for nothing, he said he would. Never did. After sitting in line for 10 minutes, asked Andrew if he checked. He said to wait in line. Wtf? He wasn’t doing anything!
We asked another guy working and he, rudely, said «just wait in line»
This will be the last time I ever come in this store. Idiot lazy workers.
Andrew walked by me and I said «hey, thanks for checking that game in stock for me». The asshole said «you’re welcome». wtf! I said «that was sarcasm. You said you would check and didn’t!» He said «my boss told me we were too busy». I told him that was bullshit and he walked away.
An employee named Joe finally was good enough to help. This guy deserves some praise. Saved this shopping experience. Thanks Joe.

this Gamestop has fucked 3 time with reserving games. i reserved resident evil 6 months ago. i wanted the special edition, they said that i would get that. i went to pay it off 4 days before the release date & they sold out of the special edition. HOW THE F DO U SELL OUT WHEN U HAVE A RESERVED COPY!!! isn’t that the point of reserving a copy so they dint sellout??? this Gamestop is a joke. i will NEVER buy games or anything from Gamestop again!!! suck it Gamestop

this location of gamestop has given me mixed feelings, because it Does differ from one gamestop to another (as far as how the employees are, and game availability.)
on one hand they do [normally] have the game that i am looking for, and finding it used is not something that is unheard of at this store. but on the other hand, you normally have to pull teeth to get a straight answer out of the employees there. the people there are normally very rude and it is obvious that they don’t want to be there, which is their deal, but if their crappy service comes in the way of me getting the information or product that i am looking for, then there is a problem. and the more that i think about it, as i explain this, and think of all of the times that i have been treated like a jerk when i go to the store, i am lowering my original 3-​star review of them to 2-​star just out of sheer anger… this is how i get back at them, a review that they will never read…
with that said, i realize that if you are a gamer there aren’t too many other options of Stores that specialize in video games (it’s EB games, and a few other places really) so i would like to point out that; from my experiences, not all Gamestops are horrible, some of them are really bad, and some are good, (i’ve been to three or four different ones) i suppose you just might have to deal with the employees that are working at the one that you may go to and hope that they get fired… sabotage?

In previous years I was treated extremely rudely at this Gamestop (rude and sexist-​not even joking.) However, now that Game Crazy has gone the way of the Dodo I have no choice but to peek into this shop for used games.
Today I had a wonderful experience at this location. Two people helped me, unfortunately I got only one of their names (via the printed receipt-​thank you Arthur!)
I wanted to look at old Pokemon games for Game Boy advance, I was allowed to test them all out and finally made my selection. To my surprise Arthur knew a good amount about Pokemon and engaged a conversation regarding the different generations etc.
Being a good sales person he also asked if I wanted to reserve a copy of the next Pokemon game (I’m still waiting to see who has the best offer…)
All in all I was very impressed with the staff’s friendliness and professional behavior. I really hope these people stay employed at this location and I hope I see them the next time I drop in.
*Oh yeah! I almost forgot, the young woman who helped me at first was knowledgeable and friendly-​as she helped me work the Game Boy Advance to test the games (I never owned a Game Boy advance, so I had no idea where the power button was.)

I buy all my Xbox 360 games and gifts here because the people are knowledgeable of there products and very courteous. I stood line till 12AM waiting for Madden 2009 to release they had a little release party with grown men like me waiting till the clock stuck 12AM on Tuesday. Needless to say I am a huge football fan and proclaim myself a madden GOD!!!

I usually love all the Gamestops I go to. But not this one. Everyone working there seemed either irritated, paranoid, or just emo. It’s the only Gamestop that hasn’t had any of the games I’ve been looking for.
