Home-Pro Termite Control

I want to start by I usually don’t write reviews but this company was so bad I have to warn others. The other thing is that I did not pick this company to do our termite inspection, we were in escrow with this house and the seller’s agent chose this company. They did the inspection and with quite a bit of places that were damaged from termites. While in escrow they recommended treating, not tenting however when we got the house we noticed very obvious very bad damage in certain areas of the house that were actually written as damaged area but no treatment was done and there was one specific place that once looking closer after buying the house had structural damage (the window was caving in) and nothing was done. We had to get the studs under the window replaced, Once we asked the company to come back they then recommended tenting which would cost us. I don’t feel this was right. At this point they had collected money in escrow for damages they had treated and now they were wanting more for termites they did not treat. Very upsetting since the only thing we asked for was termite clearance with the sell of the house. They said they would only guarantee the work if tenting was done. We had the tenting done through this company only because they said they would give a discount and we knew it needed to be done as we found a lot of live termites with fixing the window. I started researching the company and found on the state secretary site that the company had a suspended license so of course I was not sure as of payment. I spoke to them on it and they told us at 20 days after the tenting they would put a lien on our house if we didn’t pay. They were very unprofessional when the bill says 30 days to pay and not only that but there was some days they would call 2 – 3 times in the day to get the payment (I would call that harassment). Definitely would not go with this company again. The guy Jose kept telling me, I am not a contractor but some of the damage was so clear and obvious that I really don’t think you have to be a contractor to see that there was something very wrong.
