Islas Tires

Small shop, gets busy, and they are first come first serve so try and time it right. Patched a tire for me and ordered sensors. Patch was 12 $ which is average. Came back following day for sensors. They did it quickly and professionally. Ppl were nice enough and I would return if I need additional repairs.

I got 4 used tires for my PT Cruiser… They look new! Fast service and the shop was busy. Great price too! Thanks Islas Tires!

I wish I could give this place NO STARS! I’ve never made a bigger MISTAKE than choosing this place to lay hands on my car. I originally chose this place because it was close to where I bought my new tires and the reviews were good. What should have been a 10 minute process of putting 4 new tires, took well over an hour because their tire tech Jose Enrique failed to properly install the lug nuts and broke three of the bolts. Their tire master Ricardo Naranjo admitted to me that it was Jose’s fault and that he was going to talk to the boss Octavio to see what they were going to do. Octavio came out to see what happened they started talking in Spanish thinking I didn’t understand although I did. Octavio then said he needed an hour to fix the three bolts because obviously it’s a safety hazard to drive with two bolts holding my tire so at this point I assumed he took responsibility For his workers carelessness and was going to fix it free of charge… WRONG! When it was all said and done he tried to charge me $ 68 for install of new tires and $ 84 for repair of lug nuts and having to hire someone else to fix it because HIS employee broke and admitted fault for… when I said I wasn’t paying for THEIR MISTAKE he said all he could do was take off $ 20…I ended up paying $ 100 because in his words he has to get paid for something or he’s losing money. Having a business of my own I know a good owner takes care of their customers especially when your employees are at fault. Needless to say I WILL NEVER BE GIVING ISLAS TIRES BUSINESS AGAIN AND I WILL BE SURE TO LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW UNPROFESSIONAL THIS PLACE IS!

I recently had to get my wheels re-​finished due to bad life decisions lol! They had to send my wheels out but the prices were very reasonable and you can’t tell that they were scuffed up and damaged at all. Ruben was very helpful at the front desk and every time I went I was in and out quick. I’ll be sure to refer any friends and highly recommend Islas. Thanks.

Had Gabriela help me over the phone… the employees were courteous and very attentive in helping me with finding two used tires for my Benz… way better experience here than at Salinas tires in Whittier (stay away from them). Ricardo Naranjo replaced both of my tires and he’s very good at what he does… If I am ever around the area and in need of tires I will definitely come back to buy from this family owned spot…

I was very impressed on how quickly my tire was fixed. I noticed that every worker was diligently on task and working as a team. In addition, the pricing was very reasonable and appropriate, unlike other shops that like to take advantage of people that are ignorant about car maintenance costs.

If you look at my other reviews you will find one about a HORRIBLE experience in getting my wheels powder coated… this review I am placing here is about one of those wheels being accidentally damaged here at Islas Tires…
So I have a slow leak in a tire and took it to these guys and they fixed it (15 $), I left and later that day I noticed they had scuffed the wheel… I called and informed the person I was just there and the wheel had been scuffed when they put it the tire back on… the gentleman said for me to bring it in so he could see it. They immediately took responsibility for it and asked how I would like to have it fixed. I don’t have a spare since BMW decided that run-​flats were good enough… so no way to just pop that on and send the wheel on to be recoated. He offered to find a wheel and would call me in a few days. they call didn’t come so I called and was assured they are trying to get me a wheel. A few weeks passed and I went in to the shop to see what the hold-​up was, I spoke with a young lady named Gabby and she called a shop right then and there to see if she could get a wheel for me. She was able to find one and said it should be in a day or so, within two days they had my wheel off and sent to the shop I had originally used to coat the wheel so there could deb no variation in the coating. This of course was a big to me as who would like a different shade of color on their rims lol. So not only did they man up for the mistake they completely handled all the little in n ours of getting the wheel transported to the shop.
So Thank you guys over at Islas for doing good business.

I needed 2 new tire sensors for my Toyota and called and spoke with Gabriela for an estimate. From the start, she was friendly, helpful and provided me a great price. Although they take no appointments, its first come first serve and I arrived at about 10:30 on a Saturday, they still completed the job quickly. In case my other two go out, I’m definitely coming back to Islas!

A few weeks back I had a nail in my tire. I took my car here on my husbands advice and the gentleman there stopped what he was doing immediately, and stated to inspect my car. Once he found the nail he pulled it out and checked for any air leakage. Once it was all cleared he wouldn’t charge me since it was less than 10 mins from start to finish. I paid him a nice tip and I went on my way! They are great, fast, and knowledgeable! Great customer service!

Fixed my flat tire extremely quickly, very friendly staff and from the looks of the office they seem very organized, will definitely be coming back when I need tires or another repair!

I had a leaking tire that needed repair. Unfortunately, I had to spend part of my holiday taking care of that instead of relaxing our having fun.
Fortunately, I went to Islas Tires for the repair. I was in and out in ten minutes and only lighter by $ 12. They were quick and friendly and professional.
