The tacos are great but I really recommend the tostaditas. Takes a while to get your food but well worth it.

I got to say that they were well served! I was expecting it to not have that much meat, but I was wrong. They also served me a good portion of grilled onions, radish, lemons, and a jalapeño ! It was beyond my expectations in comparison to what they cost! $ 1 tacos, you can’t bet that! They are pretty good! I checked the business hours in Unilocal and it said that they open at 7pm. I got there around 7:20 and didn’t find them. So, I called and told me they’ll be there at 8! I definitely suggest you to call before hand just to check they are there! They got 5 chairs for you to eat there. Definitely a good place to go eat for those night cravings.

Been here 3 times,& all 3 times it was horrible, the only reason why i came back after the first time was because it was the only roach coach open at 2am. First i tried the carne asada then the al pastor & finally the pollo all three times it gave me and my friends violent diarrhea and stomach aches. You’re better off going to a 24hr dinner. Beware the Diarrhea!

This was a good spot. Seems a bit sketchy at night but just be cautious of your surroundings. I had 3 asada and 3 lengua. The asada was good but the lengua was a bit too soft and mushy for me this time. i like the sauce and the sides they give.

Tried to go to this truck 2xs this weekend. They do not show up or open as hours stated so it’s hit or miss if they are there are not. Finally caught them tonight, and was excited. The fish taco was so small like a baby taco .what. . You need to order 3 to make 1. Tried sopes and hurriache was ok meat had a lot of fat and grisly. .ew my heart is with the Santos truck just on opposite corner. .try the fish tacos you’ll be hooked .and sopes are delish. Wanted to like the competition we gave it a try. just ok

The sopes and gorditas are amazing because the make everything from scratch. Tacos are great also. Most of all the meats offered are very tasty.

We’re rapidly approaching a year since I first started coming to this taco truck. It is still the best place to get tacos and nachos in all of Los Angeles and Orange County. Prices CANNOT be beat: $ 1 tacos, $ 6 for nachos(and there’s over a quarter of an avocado on them), tax included. My usual order: asada nachos; 2 asada tacos, with everything. Add on a $ 2 tip, that’s $ 10 for way, way better food than Chipotle. Plus I just feel better about giving my money to «Jose’s» Tacos. The hours are somewhat random, they’re definitely never here on Tuesday nights. Usually I drive over to where they’re parked around 8:30 at night and pray that they are there, and usually they’re there and sometimes they aren’t. I don’t like to think about the nights they aren’t there, the food I’ve had to eat instead. God. I love this truck so much I am considering throwing a birthday party(I am an anti-social person) just so that I can have this truck come and cater it, and I can share the delicious nachos and tacos with all of my friends(meaning my co-workers, because I have only one friend). OK, the birthday party is also an excuse to do a ton of nitrous, but the taco truck is a really close second excuse. They know my name here. They know it as «Brat», which is totally fantastic. Every time they write«Brat» on my ticket I feel so happy inside. One night, I only had a $ 20 bill and they didn’t have enough change. I told them, «Hey, I come here so much, you can just keep the $ 20 if you guys can keep track of my credit…» They handed me back my $ 20 and told me to pay for my food next time.(Which I did.) That’s awesome. They trust me, and I’m pretty clearly a white man. I want to reinforce how delicious this truck is. I know, it looks like a beat-to-hell roach coach parked on top of sewer drain spewing cockroaches – OK, it doesn’t just look like it, it is it – but I promise you that the food that comes out of it is absolutely incredible 99.99% of the time, and for that other 0.01% of the time the food is so cheap it doesn’t matter. Sometimes I fantasize about saving up a couple thousand dollars and trying to contact whoever owns this truck. If you put a nice«gourmet food truck» wrap on this taco truck and drove it into LA you could easily charge $ 10 for the nachos and $ 2 per taco and people would eat this shit up like crazy. The gentrified neighborhoods would go insane, they’d make it rain on this truck. Please note, this truck is not very fast. On a normal night when there aren’t too many people here, you’re looking at a 20 minute wait from the time you arrive to the time you leave with your food, and that’s just one order of nachos and two tacos. If you come here and there are a lot of people here, or if the few people that are here ordered togo orders for 15 different people, then you’re in for a long wait. But I promise you, the wait is worth it, and while you wait you can stand around looking bemused at the couple of people who get real butt-hurt waiting for food.

Just got back from here. Was looking for a Taco truck that stayed true to $ 1 a taco since my usual truck went up 25¢. Found them on Unilocal and decided to try them out. I ordered 1 Huarache de chorizo and 1 mulita de pastor. My girl ordered 2 chorizo tacos and 2 asada tacos. We got everything on them and green salsa on all. 1 coke and 1 horchata. Apparently the horchata was good because when I reached to take a sip my girl had already finished it. It was all really good tasting actually and I plan on recommending it to family and friends. Can’t wait to go back and try the car it as and other items on the menu.

This place always hits the spot, they have a nice variety of tacos and the prices start from only $ 1. The included sauteed jalapeño and onions are a great bonus. Often times at night, the wait can be a little long. Otherwise, this place is great.

This place is AMAZING! Best tacos I’ve ever had by far. I normally order the tostaditas(like a mini tostada) for $ 1.50. if you like to try new things the tripas dorados is insanely good. If you’re super hungry the huaraches($ 3.50) are delicious as well. The peppers and onions they give you are out of this world. And don’t forget to order some horchata! The workers are always friendly even when there’s a 20 person line at 1am, which happens like every weekend, so be prepared to wait a bit during peak hours. But I promise it’s worth the wait!

The best taco truck around and closest to authentic you’ll get without entering a dine-in restaurant. Food is extremely inexpensive with tacos ranging from $ 1 to $ 1.75(for Camaron) as well as burritos, tortas from $ 4.50 to $ 5.50. Food might take a little while to get but its well worth it — there’s many people ordering and not much staff except for Friday, where you can expect three chefs on hand. Most things also come with their appropriate garnishes and some grilled onions to boot.

Best taco truck in Whittier! If you know of a better one please let me know. I find that hard to believe ! The quality of the food is always amazing, doesn’t matter if it’s 3am or 8pm. The lady that takes the orders is super sweet! If you come here, I promise you won’t be disappointed! The tacos are always juicy, the onions and green chiles are finger kicking good. Both the red and green salsas are tasty. The red is a bit more spicy. The only thing I dislike is, when I come here late sometimes there is creepers getting food too! Nothing crazy to make me stop coming here though. :)
