This place is a daily staple for me. I leave with a smile on my face every time I come in, not just from the home-made boba pearls, but because of the service! They are the sweetest people and always make customers feel welcome. I’ve seen all kinds of people in New Donuts and every one is talked to like they’re an old friend — great spot!

They have the most A-mazing ham and cheese croissant sandwiches. OMG, they are sinful and delicious. Try them with jalapeños. The coffee is delicious. They are sweet and fast. Can’t wait to try the other things. Mmmmm

We’ve been here almost once a week now since my original review. 1) They’re consistent. Awesome doughnuts for a great price. 2) When they’re out of small versions of apple fritters, they throw the huge ones in at no extra charge in my dozen. 3) We’ve tried a lot more variety. Everything is good 4) The buttermilk biscuit looking things. I have no idea what they’re called. If you like buttermilk old fashioned glaze… these are awesome. 5) Their plain ol’ glaze doughnut is great. These can often indicate how good a place is because it relies on perfect ingredients, recipe, and technique to stand out. Theirs do. 6) Cake doughnuts — again, great texture, flavor, and they’re consistent. We’ve gone at all times of the day and they taste fresh. 7) They throw in a free doughnut! Sometimes they let me choose, sometimes they don’t. It’s a roulette that makes the trip fun. Or they throw in a 8 – 12 doughnut holes. Again, plain glaze, but really good. Bottom line. I have yet to try another place since my last review. Maybe I’m prone to high praise because we moved from Phoenix and they had crap doughnuts. But we tried two other places here and they were only so-so. This one isn’t. It’s great, and we’ll continue going every other week or so.

Great little find! My wife’s parents told us about this place when it opened a few weeks ago and were raving how good the donuts were. Not to be outdone, my wife and I decided to try it. Since our first visit, we have been on many(ahem) return visits for an occasional after-dinner treat and a cup of coffee. At first glance, it appears to be a family-run business – the people are very nice, all smiles, and are very attentive. They apparently did their homework and have an Agua/Water dispensary inside for the local population(Latino) to get their bottled water. The floors are always swept and well maintained; the first sign of a good restaurant or any place is how well the floors are maintained. Tables are clean(no crumbs or stains) and the counters are all wiped down. Well lit, and has great hours… I believe they open around 3:30am and don’t close until late. We’ve been there as late as 9pm and there are still ppl coming in to pick up donuts. The donut selection is everything you could imagine, and a few others that don’t immediately come to mind when you think«Donut Shop». Connolis, fresh sandwiches, fruit, ice cream, etc. One of my favorite things is the coffee – they have really good coffee, and it’s not expensive at all… in fact I believe a small coffee is a $ 1 here. We recently picked up two donuts and two small coffees and it cost us about $ 3.90. Not bad in a recession… Starbux would have cost twice that for the same order. Donuts are something I’m rather picky about… good ones are hard to find, and bad ones are often times greasy. These aren’t greasy, and don’t give me that«gurd» feeling after having one. I esp. like their cake donuts and my wife loves the eclairs. All in all, it’s a great little family-run donut shop off Washington Blvd. and the prices are very reasonable. We have been telling our friends about this little«find» and they’ve also said great things about it too. With all the businesses closing around us, it’s nice to see one that is doing as well as it is. A+
