Does AMAZING things with her ninja knife skills and makes me hair truly fabulous. I live a low maintenance lifestyle and by that i literally mean i wake up and go M-​F. Working in the fashion sector my overall appearance has to be clean, kept and modern. With Audrey i never have to work about my hair looking limp or dead or worrying about my color looking brassy. Did i mention her nickname is hair jesus?!

I had a semi-​regular stylist for my difficult hair at a local salon. But the owner couldn’t (or wouldn’t) keep the same hair people. I got fed up and really delayed getting a much needed haircut. I turned to Unilocal to see if there was one local place I could try. Reading the reviews for On The Spot made it sound like the place for me.
I get home so late at night that finding anyone staying open after 7pm is perfect for me. I was surprised and pleased that Audrey had a 7:30pm opening for me on a Friday night.
The building is one of Whittier’s old buildings. Her space has three places for stylists and one artist in residence doing his thing. After being in so many «cookie cutter’ places, it was a treat to be in a comfortable place with a real kewl vibe going on.
Audrey asked me about my hair, what I do in the morning to get ready and so on. I’ve never been asked by a stylist about the regular «hair» routine before. She took her time cutting and trimming, which I was very relaxing for me. 45 minutes later, I had a great haircut.
Got home and my wife was very pleased with the results. And the best part yet, when I woke up the next morning, it took no effort at all to have that just styled haircut from the night before.

My 12 year old daughter was having a hair crisis so I scoured Unilocal for someone local, with great reviews, who was open on a Monday. I found Audrey and she was able to get my daughter in for a cut that day. Her space is an amazing artist loft/​studio in an old building, very unique. Audrey took her time with my daughter, not only cutting her hair but taught her how to style it and care for it properly. I was so impressed I scheduled an appointment for myself the following week for cut, color, and highlights. All I can say is, thank God I found Audrey! She did an incredible job with my cut and color; totally refreshing my trusty long, angled bob. On top of it all she is really fun and easy to talk to. She makes the whole time you are in her chair a relaxing, personalized experience. Audrey has two new clients, and we could not be happier.

Thank you very much for the hair cut! Audrey accommodated me at the last minute and was super professional and friendly. The space itself is really great and totally up my alley since I love old buildings. It isn’t visible from the street like a store front at street level, but rather a loft space on the second floor, so you do have to be buzzed in from what I could tell. She cut my hair in a timely manner and didn’t try to sell me on any products or other services like some stylists do (which is a big turn off). I would definitely recommend her and would go back again.

Best hair stylist by far. I trust no one else with my hair. She styled my hair for my wedding and I loved it!!! I’ve tried these so called stylist who have great reviews on Unilocal and they don’t come close to being as good as Audrey. Wherever Audrey goes I will follow:)

Audrey is a hair goddess! About the only hair stylist who doesn’t give me a migraine while sitting in her chair. She is a sweet heart that is affordable and amazing at what she does. The location is a cute loft located in uptown whittier and I would recommend anyone to her. She usually only does my extensions but at my last visit she turned a brunette into a beautiful blonde so Im seriously considering taking the risk my next visit.

My new stylist is Audrey. After a year of stylist hopping, She helped stop me from reshaving my head! Growing out my pixie cut is so frustrating but I have a feeling its now gonna b a lot more stylish. My hair looks exactly how I hoped it would. Thanks!

Audrey Audrey Audrey! You will NOT regret trusting your precious hair with what I call my own personal hair Jesus. I used to come out of haircuts crying because the hairdresser could not envision the same vision I wanted my hair to look and more often than not would do their own thing. She takes what you want, offers her opinion on it, and then works miracles! I’m always getting compliments on my cut and color. I’ve been a loyal customer for about seven years and have not looked back. If you want amazing hair from an amazing person, Audrey is your lady!

Miss Audrey is fabulous. I have been going to her for SEVERAL years now. I like to keep my hair short and she manages to always do a little something different each time to keep my hair looking different, fun, and easy to manage. She has such a personable and fun personality. She will keep you entertained during your time there, believe me you will laugh and get a kick out of her random stories.
Bottom line, this girl knows how to do hair very well. I only get a cut, but I have seen her work on other friends and the work she has done on various photo shoots and fashion shows. Definitely check her out if your looking for a new stylist in the area!

She knows her stuff. She is pro with both men’s and women’s hair. She does my wife’s hair – and I am always impressed. For such a young professional – she has A LOT of knowledge of the skill and profession. She knows the trends and what will work on you – even if you do not know what is best for you!!!
