Talk to joe about your project and he will lay some knowledge and give his advice.
He walked me through my DIY fence extension project. I came in with a rough idea sketched out on paper and joe was more than helpful in talking trough what would work and what wouldn’t work.
This place is definitely the place to go for first time he owners and DIY’ers.
I would say though, you get out of it what you put into it. These guys know their stuff, so do you research, bring in your dimensions and a plan on how you want to build/​fix/​experiment on whatever it is your doing. I found I got the most out of my experience here by communicating to them my idea in a drawn out sketch with dimensions. That way they can throw darts at the idea and show you what their talking about on paper as opposed to telling you and you having to imagine it.
Those are my 2 cents anyway… Just talk to joe and you’ll be fine! Gluck!

Im sorry but this store is bad bad bad. I went today forgetting why I DO NOT give my business and was reminded again of how bad there customer service was (with the exception of the blonde cashier who seems to be great everytime I have visited).
Theres more to customer service than what they practice? Perhaps they should attend some seminars for better learning or visit the local whittier Home Depot and get some understanding of how it works?
The store seems nicely stocked and has so much potential. I just don’t see how they stay in business (As the last time, I was the only one there)? «I will NOT make this mistake again».
