I reside in Santa Cruz Ca and travel to Whittier Ca & always coordinate my visit“s in Whittier Ca with all of my optical need for myself and my family. Because I love this place & the fabulous inventory. Schulz Optometry provides me with same day service due to their own lab in house. Their eye wear is from all around the world extremely fashionable, affordable, inventory is large.

I have been a satisfied and loyal customer for over 16 years. My mother would bring my younger brother and I to get our glasses and to this day we get repairs and lenses done here. The service is great, the prices are reasonable and Angelica, whom we have known since we first started coming here, is super nice and goes out of her way to help out! I’m a driver for UPS and needed something light so I got the rimless Silhouette’s, can’t even feel they’re there after 12 hrs+ of work, Ray fit them to my head so they won’t slip off my face even when sweating. So happy with their work I went back and got prescription sunglasses for the first time. Totally custom jobs tailored made to my like, from fitting to how high or where I want the nose bridge to fit! I’ve been wearing glasses for 30 years and never had such a personal experience like this, awesome job guys keep it up!

A fabulous store! I have been to a handful of optometry’s and this one is by far the best one I have ever been to. The employees are great and they care about my eyes and my pockets! They go out of their way to do anything you might possibly need done. Whether that be fixing your glasses or ordering you a new pair of shades this company has got you covered. I first came here a year ago to fix one arm of my glasses chewed up by my dog! They were very pleasant and have to order the parts for me. I love their customer service and order three pairs of new glasses from them. I need both vertical and horizontal prism so that’s very tricky to make. Ray is a so precise and crafty and all of my glasses turn out perfect. They make the glasses on site by Ray — much much better than the other VSP farm out mass production quality.

Went to fix my old glasses and decided to take an eye test they told me l could have ²⁰⁄₁₅ with a new pair. I got a new pair and l couldn’t believe lt was so clear. THANK YOU

I’ve used contacts for the past 15years, never glasses. I’ve always hated wearing glasses because they usually squeeze the sides of my head and fall off my face. I was convinced by both family and friends that everyone needs at least one functional set of glasses (in cases of emergency, etc.). I decided they were right, and picked myself up a pair.
The man (Ray) that helped me was knowledgeable, polite, and willing-​to-​help (what more could you freakin’ ask for)
Ray, «fitted/​molded», my glasses in a way nobody has ever done before. After he molded them I put them on and he said, «ok, now try tilting your head forward, and shake your head left-​to-​right, they shouldn’t move at all», and he was absolutely correct. He molded them to hold onto the back of my skull. Every other optometrist in the past has molded my glasses to hold onto the sides of my head (which results in the glasses squeezing the sides of my head and slipping down my nose). Since getting my glasses fitted by Ray, I haven’t worn contacts once.
Summary:
I always hated glasses, only wore contacts. After Schulz optical gave my glasses a proper fitting I now love glasses and no longer fuss with contacts every morning/​night. Also, they have a pretty healthy selection of brand-​name glasses.

Brought a pair of well used reading glasses in for a bit of repair. The screws were loose and the two sides that attached to the actual glasses have a tendency of falling off.
They charged me $ 25 for the repair, the price was a little steep in my opinion, but it was fine, as long as the problem was fixed.
Got it back, and it was fine for a couple of days. But the old problem came back. Brought it back to Schulz, and I was accused of abusing the glasses. The lady proceed to ask me if I had been rough with the glasses, perhaps even sat on it, etc
What the bloody hell?!
Oh yea, that’s exactly how I treat my glasses… After finishing 50 Shades of Grey and feeling duped by the masses, for my cat could’ve written a better trashy romance novel; I proceed to rip the glasses from my face, threw it out the window, dropped a ton of dirt on it, and then sat on it.
Give me a break.
