TJ Maxx

Very nice visit to this TJ Maxx. My mom and I were in the area and decided to go shopping. Although some areas were a little messy, it seemed like there were always employees coming to straighten up the products. Some employees however weren’t very smiley… but maybe I just smiled at them too much. Lol anyway, overall great experience. This location is about 25 minutes away but it’s worth the drive. Prefer this one that the one that is nearest to me!

TJ Maxx has plenty of different locations and this one is located in Whittier. It is pretty big and everything but the clothes selection to me is pretty out of style and the shoe section. The place is pretty organized though but the only thing I bought throughout the whole store were these face mask and eye mask that I have been using this past few days.
The masks cost about $ 3.99-$ 5.99 for a packet about three– six sheets will be insides. It depends on what brand you get but in general they really do feel refreshing and nice when you want to either put one in the morning right when you wake up to depuff or put one at night when you want to relax and unwind.
They also sell high end brands for a cheaper price like toners and creams. But the brands vary and it isn’t super consistent. But I have seen Clinique, Shiseido, Origins, Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder. So if you see one you should just stop by and see what they have and maybe you’ll be getting something that you didn’t know you needed.

I am a maxxinista! TJ and Marshalls are my go to places to shop everything! This particular store is where I landed my very first retail job a loooong time ago.
This TJ is pretty organized, nothing like Ross on the other side of the shopping center. I wish they had more fashionable clothing but they have a good selection.

I gave tho place two stars because I like to shop here and most of their employees are nice, its the mangers that are the problem! I don’t know their names, but they both happen to be African Americans and based on my last visit, it compelled me to write this review.
The man manger is always indifferent, and never friendly. I visit this place too often to chop it up to him having a bad day. Its more like a bad decade. This latest visit, I was looking at sheets and asked him if they were organized by size. He rudely, if not acted as he was bothered, said no. No explanation, small talk, or Im sorry“s. Just a rude dismissal. Then I asked him another question and he straight out ignored me. I didn’t continue bothering to get his help.
As I went to check out, I happened to walk right in the middle of lady manager training a very sweet girl. I caught her saying as I walked up, «you have to get 10 credit card accounts per day, don’t think you, can say you can, Period!» First off, aside from the fact that you are forcing your employees to get the consumer to apply for unwanted credit card and get us in debt, it is in VERY bad taste that you training her on this subject while customers are present.
What is worse, is after I made a friendly remark with the friendly new sales clerk about not getting in debt, a young man, who was very flamboyant, walked by and said, «we all sell out sooner or later!» WHAT??? How RUDE and inappropriate and the worse thing is the manger lady DID NOT SAY ANYTHING and she most definitely heard.
CORPORATE office needs to hear about the POOR management here!

Store is fairly clean and merchandise is easy to find, buy stupid is lacking in customer service! Wasn’t grated at all and only words manager said to us where «the cart doesn’t go outside»

Good location. Good variety of clothing. Incompetent manager and cashier (one in particular). I come here often but will stop after today. I went to return a bike and some shoes. They made a big deal about the shoes and tried telling me they don’t sell bikes. Ultimately they returned the bike I bought from Anaheim location but not they shoes because according to the cashier «they were worn «. According to the manager i «damaged them » keep in mind the stickers were still on and they didn’t consider the fact that people dirty them from trying them on.
Last time I’m coming here.

Descent location, no Runway section but if you are lucky you can still score some good deals.
Clean, nice staff, parking out front, worth a stop when I am in the area, you never know what you’ll find.

Sometimes when i want to get out of the heavy Mando gear, I will stop by the local TJ Maxx to put some «style» into my life… I can usually find what I am looking for, and sometimes find some good treasures. From what I see the front counter staff are courteous and friendly like a junk dealer on Tatooine could be if credits are a guarantee. But the management could change some…
