I love this place!!! It’s a great vintage store with fair prices, the clothes is really vintage as well as the shoes and other items they have there for sale. The jewelry is pricey but if you’re there for an original clothing piece, this is the place!!!

I found out about this store after visiting their booth at the Uptown Whittier Antique Fair. This store has a mix of vintage and used clothing. I got a lovely 40s/vintage-style black dress with floral designs with a hem that falls just at my knees. The material is light and great for the warm weather. It’s also easy to move around, which is perfect when I go Lindy Hopping. I visited the outdoor booth again and found a white Pan Am tote for $ 15! I have gotten lots compliments with this bag. The prices on the clothes are reasonable and the ladies who work there are very friendly. All this time that I have frequented Uptown Whittier(only in the Greenleaf Avenue vicinity) and I have not visited this store! This store is quite a hidden gem!

Awesome store! My mom and I stopped in a few months back and I picked up a few things, very reasonable! My mom and I stopped in here on Saturday and I found some great pieces, one of which was a black 70’s romper for $ 15! My mom found a purse. We can’t wait to go back soon!

Most self-proclaimed vintage stores consist of a collection of musty 90s pieces and leftovers from a garage sale. Uptown Swagger’s a vintage store that actually has some vintage pieces as well as some modern ones, and at very reasonable prices. Found a sequined black clutch/purse perfect condition at 7 dollars and a stripey mid-calf summer dress at $ 15. There’s not too high of a turnover rate, but the collection always contains some very carefully picked pieces. Be sure to check out their belt and scarf bins too. Plenty of street parking. And like many other thrift/vintage stores, they have discounts on Wednesdays, whoohoo!

After reading Unilocal review, my GF and I decided to visit this vintage shop. OMG. They have a great selection of vintage items that are reasonably priced and that are in good condition. I thank all the Unilocal reviewers who wrote review on this shop. Without you guys, I wouldn’t be as happy as I am today. The girl who worked there was super nice. I will go back there again soon. This place will NOT disappoint you, I guaranteed

I’m a little embarrassed. I’ve been in Uptown Whittier for a little over 10 years and I had no idea there was another vintage shop. For shame. As far as selection, it’s pretty stellar, a bit less organized than the more popular Melrose Vintage down the street, but a more grass roots type of situation. I found an adorable pink Calvin Klein dress for $ 15…score. Service the night I went in was a bit sketchy as the young lady behind the counter was on the phone the entire time and only hung up when she realized that her being on the phone was hindering my credit card from going through. Honestly, it didn’t bug me. It was Friday night and she was a teenager in an empty store. I will be back to dig up some new gems soon.

This is definitely a hidden little place, I had to drive by a couple times before I finally realized it was what I was looking for(they only had a small sign in the window and the lettering above the store looked like it had been taken out). LOVE how cheap the prices are, I bought the rainbow striped dress in the photos for $ 14, almost bought a vintage top for $ 5 but it didn’t fit quite right. Decent sized selection, I wish it was a little bigger but no major complaints. It looked like the vintage was mixed in with all the second hand clothes, but the racks were neatly organized by size. The had seven jeans for about $ 30 and a Carolina Herrera vintage dress for about $ 68 I think, not bad at all.

Ladies! you must visit Uptown Swagger as soon as you can! As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a Welcome and a Smile =) you can get lost in the amazing collection Ana(owner) has managed to put together… so many unique items to choose from… from accessories, shoes, scarfs, casual, professional, cocktail and of course my fave Vintage… On my first visit I left with a Vintage Skirt, the perfect pair of jeans! and a oh so pretty casual top… all with out breaking the piggy bank… I think my total was something like $ 33-$ 36 …I would have probably paid that or more for just one of the items anywhere else Thank you Ana for putting together such a unique boutique for us ladies in Whittier can’t wait till next time =)

Very cool little vintage store with a clean and organized boutique feel to it. The owner(Ana) is as refreshing as she is helpful and insightful. I love the various high end jeans they carry such as True Religion, Seven for All Mankind, and Juicy just to name a few. This little gem is a must see if you’re in the Whittier area.
