Great mexican deli in this little market. The variety is good and taste is ym ym good. Small salsa selection but pretty good. The lady behind the counter at the deli will give you samples if you ask. Very nice service too! Haven’t tried any other items in the market.

The 5 stars are for the mexican deli, and spreading some of that to the mexican sweet bread and carneceria. It”s a great thing to have for when you don’t feel like cooking & want a delicious quick meal, better yet it tastes so good and authentic. The lady that runs it is really sweet & gives you good portions. The pandulce is really good & the carnerceria has good seasoned meats to grill or make however you wish. Part of the produce isn’t too bad in prices, depends on what your getting. The market/liquor portion is ridiculously overpriced, but if you don’t mind getting ripped off for convenience… The little asian gentleman that runs it however is really sweet and gives great customer service to his local patrons. Until I move, this is my weekly pitstop. One more thing, they sell the large menudo(on the weekends) for $ 6.00, and if you bring your olla, please remember $ 6 only goes for the amount they sell for the large container, so if your olla is huge, your going to pay more, to serve a family of four costs close to $ 15 — about the average now a days.

Its a good store to go to if you live close by and don’t want to go to a supermarket a mile away. Its great for the surrounding neighborhoods and has a decent selection of grocery items.

Great place to run in and grab fresh produce and marinated Carne Asada! The man behind the meat counter will help you with tips and special orders, but be prepared to speak Spanish. Ask for the thick cut pork chops. They will be frozen, but he will cut them to and thickness you wish. Remember, you have to ask for them, they are never in the case. They also have a great ‘to go’ counter with fresh Menudo on the weekends and specials all week. Their pre-made tubs of salsa and guacamole are the best I have found in Whittier. They also sell beer and wine.

After running errands one day and complaining I was starving, my husband pulled up in front of this small hidden market saying the guys at work, love coming there for lunch. He ordered ribs, and they were just hanging off the bone, so juicy and good, probably the best around. Wow, what more I can say, except try them, you will be happily surprised. At Norwalk and Beverly Blvd in the corner center.

Random Mini Market … You ask your self is this a mini market, a liquor store what’s going on ??? Wells its a restaurant /Market /Liquor store… The market portion of the mini market is over priced and if you have to purchase a quick Veggie then your going to have to pay a little more money. The good part of this little market is the mini to go meals, which are really delicious. i recommend the Posole that is very good!!! however, The best portion is the Baguette that they make fresh there, yes random but so good…

When I first tasted the food from the Food Deli, I couldn’t believe that a small market could have such good food. I’ve gone here at least half a dozen times for either the Pozole, Menudo, Birria and Carnitas. All really good and not pricey. They also cater which I’m going to consider next time I think of having a party.

This is a very local grocery store that is just around the block from mah luvuhs house. I can probably throw a rock from her backyard to this place. I like the owner. A nice Korean man who seems easy going and his employees who work the store appear content working there. This is a fairly typical small grocery store with a small meat department and small Mexican deli. Everything is fresh, but don’t let their produce sit on your counter too long. What I’ve noticed about grocery stores is that although big chains like Vons and Ralphs have fresh produce that are a bit expensive, they seem to have their produce a bit unripened. These little mom/pop grocers have produce that are fully ripened, and sometimes, you’ll see one that’s starting to rot. You just have to pick through them and find the perfectly ripened produce and have it soon. I’d go only if it’s close and local. I think everyone has a place like this in their neighborhood, unless you’re in Beverly Hills. Don’t be afraid, like I was. Give them a shot.
