Yes, it’s true… the kimchi fries are fantastic. Every taco is worth trying.

I’m giving them 3 stars because although the food is good. Their prices are to high! I’m always down in Dallas getting great tacos for half the price! Their food is good but not to its price point good.

Yes, yes out of all the places in Wichita Falls I’d keep coming back to The Gypsy Kit hands down every time if I was asked to pick a place to go eat. I take friends and family here when they come into town as well. You can see by the ratings and the reviews that this place is doing things differently than most of the places here in The Falls.
Come to The Kit for a little something different and refreshing if you’re tired of fried chicken and burgers, and good Lord, am I tired of that after only having lived here 6 months!
You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but my favorites are The Chimster, a massive, delicious burger with chimchurri mayo and pork belly, the Chimi Chicken, a delectable grilled chicken sandwich, and the Buffalo Bleu CHIPS (I like to get the chips over the fries), wonderfully cooked sliced of taters covered with buffalo sauce and chunky blue cheese bits. YUM.
So if you are in The Falls, and need a bite to eat, go to The Gypsy Kit, just check the hours as they are not open all day. ;)

I have had many things on the menu and everything is outstanding!

Hands down the best restaurant in Wichita Falls. Everyone at Gypsy is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I have had too many great dishes here to list and I have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and the daily specials show the inventiveness of the kitchen. The daily soup is always great. I only wish they had a full menu on the truck for dinner so I could have it twice a day.

If I could give it 6 stars, I would. I came with a group of LTs and we had a great experience. The food is amazing and the staff is very friendly. All the unique food and flavors (kimchee sauce) make this place different from any other and in my opinion the best food in Wichita Falls.

Oh Gypsy Kit, how I love you. The tacos involve hidden french fry gems. There’s literally nothing better.
The Gypsy Kit was our number one choice for lunch while doing a quick Texas pop-​in. Not only did they have options for vegetarians and omnivores alike, but their ingredients were all super fresh as well.
My boyfriend ordered the bahn mi and Jamaican jerk tacos. He loved the flavors of both, but felt the pineapple salsa was a bit too watery on the jerk taco. I ordered the avocado tacos which were filled with big chunks of avocado, french fries, lettuce, and topped with pineapple salsa (same salsa as the jerk tacos, but the moisture level worked with mine perfectly). We also had an order of the truffle fries which were wonderful, but a little heavy on the grease for our taste.
Overall, the Gypsy Kit is a must try for its creative combinations of flavors, and amazingly fresh ingredients!

I am a huge fan of The Gypsy Kit. It’s a restaurant that gives Wichita Falls some bragging rights and a place to take visiting friends and family from out-​of-​town for a unique experience.
Never had anything here I didn’t like, and I look forward to paying a visit to Gypsy Uncorked on Kemp very soon.

Absolutely amazing food and even more amazing people. I tried their cali style pulled pork tacos, which are loaded with dr. Pepper pulled pork, corn relish, AND french fries. Soup of the day was sweet potato & corn chowder = ultimate comfort food.

Oh my something in Wichita Falls, tx earned 5 stars from me. If you have never eaten here I would highly recommend it. They have burgers, sandwiches and tacos. But not like other places. The gypsy kit reminds me of being in California at a Food truck festival enjoying the wonderful food and company, only thing missing is a live band and the breeze off the ocean. Hurry down and try something new.

Fantastic place to eat in Wichita Falls. Had lunch there with a couple of colleagues. Grilled chicken — avocados sandwich. With bacon. Fantastic. The hamburger my colleague had looked fantastic. All fresh. It did not look like a typical hamburger slapped on the grill and served. It looked awesome. Everything was fresh. Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, avocado, meat, etc.
Another colleague had the grilled chicken tacos. He also was very complementary. It looked very good.
Highly recommend it.

Follow up: came back and I grabbed a Gypsy Burger cooked Medium Rare with Gouda Cheese and substituted Sautéed Onions for regular onions. Had that with fries and Sriracha Ketchup on the side. This place is only open for a few hrs a day, but when they are open they are awesome!!!

When you think of Wichita Falls, food is the last thing I think of as good. This place has blown me away with the flavor, quantity, originality and style. With limited hours, gypsie kit really knows how to use supply and demand in its favor. Please… eat here. Best place in WF. Get their tacos and try the kimchi fries. Best way to explain the king pow taco: wrap up everything good in life and put it into a taco.

Great tacos with fun, interesting combinations. Tried the Dr Pepper pork and it was deeeeelicious. (Texans who don’t love DP are frauds)

Also tried an all veggie taco with fried avocado — can’t remember the name but it was so good. Reminded me of mighty cone in Austin.
Very busy during lunch, obviously a favorite among locals! Had wifi, fruity water, quick friendly service.
Will definitely return!

Great little local shop in downtown Wichita Falls. The flavors are fresh and the staff is very helpful. I had the kimchi fried, which I’m a bit snobbish so I wish there was actual kimchi on them on not just an emulsion sauce. The portions are very large. I had the Cali taco based on Unilocal reviews and the shrimp tacos based on the recommendation of staff. I should have remembered how much I hate jicama and stuck with the avocado taco. The Cali was well seasoned and the pork was very flavorful. I eventually took out the fries and I actually liked the taste of it better. They are only open for lunch but it is definitely worth your time to stop by.

My coworker and I stopped here for lunch while in town since the place had such great reviews. We were not disappointed! First, it’s located in the ground floor at the back of the high rise Chase Bank building in downtown WF. Parking is available in the parking lot next to it. The café has a menu on the wall when you walk in, and you order from the counter. Prices were extremely reasonable, and there was a variety of sandwiches, burgers, tacos, and salads to choose from, along with a variety of sides.
Outside seating is available, which we chose, and the lady was nice enough to bring our food to us when it was ready (we told her we would be out there).
I ordered the sandwich with turkey, goat cheese, and jalapeño dressing and bread. As a side I ordered blue cheese coleslaw. The food was delicious!
I was very pleased with this place and would definitely come back.

The people at the office recommended this place, so I went, and of course it is amazing. The food is always hot and well cooked, the servers bring it out to you with a smile. The Kimchi fries are fantastic as well, so I definitely recommend them.
They do have wifi, and the workers will tell you what the pass is if you need to use it. So, they are a good place to get some work done if you need to.

This place is awesome. I went in on a Saturday afternoon and had a great taco. The fries were good too! This place is the home-​base of a popular food truck. The menu has variety without being too out of control, and everything we ate was good! The staff was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the cleanliness and quality of Gypsy Kit.
One thing to note — the restaurant is open for lunch, not dinner, since it is located downtown.

The Cali taco is really amazing. Tacos are my favorite food and I eat them everywhere I go! The Gypsy Kit rivals the best tacos I’ve had in Dallas, Austin, and Mexico. Definitely worth a visit for a tasty and memorable lunch! My boyfriend had the shrimp taco and loved it. We shared the Kimchi fries, which were pretty good but I would rather eat an extra cali taco than the fries, for the price!

This charming hole-​in-​the-​wall establishment is no doubt one of Wichita Falls’ finest treasures. Not only is the food stellar, but the service had me sold as well. Although in a rush, the lady at the register took the time to patiently answer my questions and help me select one of their classics — kimchi bacon fries (I still don’t know what that means, but I don’t care — they were AMAZING) and the Cali tacos. The place was packed, of course, but there was enough seating for the grab and run business folk as well as stay and chat crowd like myself. I’ve heard about the food truck, but being brand new to the area I have yet to try it. No doubt it also lives up to the name.
Gypsy Kit greatly exceeded my expectations, and then some. I will be returning.
