I was glad to discover this shop was by the hotel I stayed at. What a great place! Great variety of vintage treasures. If I could have rented a U-haul to drive home back to CA, I would have filled it with some amazing finds from here! The vendor w/the vast collection of Fiesta ware was amazing. The vendor by the storefront facing Douglas with LOTS of AMAZING vintage treasures from the 40’s/50’s…oooh that was my favorite section indeed. I scored a lovely pink plant holder for the wall and some vintage springolators for my friend for $ 5!!! The booth next to this one had some great jewelry. I got a pair of vintage earrings from there. This store has a great selection and it was relieving to see the prices were affordable! I surely hope to go back to Wichita and visit this store!

When I shop for antiques, I generally search for vintage, shabby chic housewares, so I am not qualified to speak on A Legacy’s selection of truly rare finds and valuable antiques. But stepping in to the massive square footage of this antiques warehouse is like finding a time machine. The entire store is generally organized into booths in which you can glimpse the booth owner’s personality and interests. The two massive floors are jam-packed, so you’ll find enough selection to satisfy a variety of tastes. Because the building is not air-conditioned, I recommend a summer visit ONLY if you can stand the heat. The air on the upper floor is downright oppressive and I couldn’t browse as much as I wanted to. The staff has generously installed a number of fans around the ground floor, so you will find bursts of relief as you browse. You can also purchase cold drinks at the door.
