Abode Venue

Abode is a fantastic event venue. I recently attended a wedding here and it was the perfect venue for it! The seating area is small enough to still feel intimate but large enough to accommodate plenty of guests. The venue itself is spotless and has awesome, hip décor. All of the employees and staff that I encountered were very friendly.
The parking lot is very small but there is street parking right in front of the building and another lot located behind the building.

I hosted my college graduation party at Abode back in 2010, it happened to be one of their first events, it was a blast! It is definitely one of Wichita’s nicest venues for parties and events. The lighting and décor are top notch. I have been to Abode dozens of times over the years for everything from live concerts to corporate parties and weddings and I have never been disappointed. It’s fancy, and they have the ability to transform their spot into whatever you need it to be.

Best place to book for a wedding venue! My husband and I had our reception here. The staff is more than accommodating and provided top notch service. If you’re looking for a modern scene and gorgeous venue this is it! My husband and I chose this venue because it spoke for itself with phenomenal lighting and we did not have to do much decorating. Great location in downtown Wichita for an after party if you will.
As to the parking situation noted in the review previous to mine, there is a larger parking lot north of the building.
Book as soon as you can because dates fill up quick. We worked with Kyle and he made our wedding process that much easier for us!

Ok, there were 6 of us that grabbed some dinner up the street at The Anchor Bar and made it to the Venue at 745 to catch Elephant Revival There were very few cars in the extremely small parking lot on the east side of the buidling, and on the street as well. Easy entry after having our name confirmed on the list and proceeded to the cash bar for refreshment, and the bartender was setting up when we approached. Turned out the bartender is one of our oldest daughter’s friend from high school and they hadn’t seen each other in years. Onto the scene. The performance area leaves a lot to be desired and felt really «cold». Standard hotel meeting room table and chairs and the lack of any vibe. I like the location and concept, but they have to figure a way to warm up the seating area in the back half of the performance area.
