I have flown all over the world for 47 years. We have built«our little empire» on the hospitality industry. In one trip, we witnessed the nation’s worst example of customer service by both flight attendants but most notably Lisa, the manager who works the Ticketing desk at their AZ location. We asked Lisa for her last name as our flight was cancelled after The agent processed two of our five suitcases then proceeded to tell us that our flight cx. Flight cancellation was due to lack of crew-specifically, pilots-not because of the previous day’s snowstorm in Wichita, nothing mechanical, strictly allegiant personnel issue. Lisa said that she couldn’t give us her last name as it was a threatening question that warranted calling the police-which she did. We said, you have some of our suitcases and have scheduled us to leave 28 hours laters. We just returned our rental car. We don’t need hotel vouchers, etc. strangely, her annoyance towards us greatly overshadowed our 28-hour abruptly delayed flight caused by their employees. And Lisa was calling the police because of us? We didn’t raise our voices, exchange any profanity-not our style-plus, we had our three children with us. My husbands helped pioneer five very large hotel brands-we live and breathe the travel/service industry. Crazy things happen beyond our control! How did we become the criminals? If there was a crime its poor customer service. The upside is that the«crazy Lisa experience» minimized the maltreatment we witnessed of a flight attendant towards 2 senior men during our inbound flight. She publicly reprimanded them for not answering her questions the way she was wanted them to. «Can you not hear me? Do you even hear at all? Just be quiet.» They were asking pretty simple questions related to the two hours delay. Apparently, the one Allegiant mechanic lived 20 minutes away. We were waiting for them to drive from home, repair as needed so we could finally depart. The old men just cowered and stayed silently in their seats. We were all shocked and decided to follow suit. So horrific. If we ever won free allegiant tickets, we would never use them. Nor would we give them away. Cruel joke. Allegiant needs to fold and start over. The airline has been reduced to a miserable and resentful crew left to redirect their collective frustration towards the paying passengers. Do NOT fly Allegiant. Drive, walk, cartwheel… find another mode of transportation. Flying Allegiant is GUARANTEED to be a regretful decision!
