Love bamboo express, the food is basic, the prices are great, the service is outstanding. I get the same thing every time– boring and plain sweet and sour chicken and fried rice but it always hits the spot. Their customers are their livelihood and they always treat me like royalty. Free tea and rice crackers while you wait. Be sure and tip– they deserve it.

Every business day’s noon they service special Chinese combination to Chinese students who study in Wichita State University. Every weekend they service Chinese breakfast. If you wanna try, just ask the boss, it’s really Chinese tasty.

The restaurant is in an old Taco Tico place, but don’t let that fool you, I had the most authentic egg foo yung I have had in a while, the dumplings were home and hand made, and the service was delightful, last but not least, when leaving the store I saw the chef, a little Asian lady that didn’t really speak English, the best restaurants to go to in my opinion.
