We stopped in on our way through town. It was about 30min before closing and the food was still fresh and hot. It was the best brisket I have ever eaten. I am super picky about potato salad and it was one of the best i have had. We also had the smoked turkey and coleslaw.
If they only had fried okra it would have been perfect!

Awesome food, great service and fun atmosphere. The art hanging on the walls is all done by local artists and is also available for purchase. Ask for Kayla — she provides amazing customer service and will keep your tea glass full for your entire stay.

Great brisket meal with two sides! Fun casual atmosphere. Friendly service! No reservations needed and I sat at the bar. My first time in Wichita and I love it!

The ribs were great as was the service. The pulled pork was bland and the fish tacos were just fine. It’s better than the normal bar food. I also really like their links.

I’ve been back a number of times now and always enjoyed my meal. Both the pulled pork and the chopped brisket are wonderful. On my last trip, the server pointed out that there is extra hot BBQ sauce hiding in the complimentary garnish bar! It was enough to move Bite Me BBQ up to a 5 star!

Asked for fatty brisket and got dry ass over cooked flavorless BBQ. There is absolutely no bark to speak of, some lame attempt at a smoke ring and its sliced incriminatingly thin.
I asked for mashed potatoes and baked beans on the side. I got carrots for some stupid ass reason.
To be honest, I’m in Wichita though, they wouldn’t know a goddamn thing about good food here.

The food was very good. I had the chopped brisket. It was extremely busy and loud. I could barely hear my friends as they shouted across the table. We had two different waitstaff assigned to our table and the first one was very rude and rushed. She seemed overwhelmed with the amount of customers. I would like to come back on a week night to see if the environment is different.

When Witcheta K. S this is a must for BBQ. First of all the hostess when you open the front door is very friendly and warming. You right away get that small town feeling. I’m from CALI visiting K. S so it’s not the same in CALI. Here in K. S it’s a genuine greeting. Our waitress was polite and fast to take our orders. We had tri tip,
brisket, home made sausages, ribs, pulled pork and smoked prime rib. That was our meat entry. Sided we had baked beans, corn on the Cobb, mash potatoes and mac and cheese. Everything we ordered was amazing you can’t beat 12 hours plus of smoked meats. My favorite was smoked prime rib. I have never tried smoked pime rib its was ridiculously delicious!!! The price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. Compared to CALI I would have paid twice as much for the same amount of food.

It has a good atmosphere with good smells. The pulled pork is good. They have burnt ends on Thursday only. Good flavors! They fit right in the Kansas BBQ with strong cooking. It is worth going in to try their flavors. You will not leave disappointed! Plus $ 5 ritas are a cold refreshing option!

Very yummy BBQ! The only thing that needs improvement is the veggies. Ordered the carrots and not impressed at all. I think carrots are better when cut from a fresh whole carrot… my opinion of course. Green beans need to be fresh too. Favorite thing for sides is the baked beans… Yum! But I guess nobody goes there for the veggies Right :-)

Fabulous food and tons of choices on this menu. Even have a few great Mexican plates with bbq meat that are a good choice. Fresh fried waffle fries with ranch are to die for and great for an appetizer with a beer. Then the rib meat Nacho’s are great for sharing as well. I love the baked beans as they are thick and sweet.
Parking in back is a perk but even if you have to walk a block you know it is worth it! Condiment bar is something different with pickled okra, pickles, onions, different sauces (vinegar/​southern bbq) jalapeños etc…

This place was hyped up quite a bit so I had to check it out. The portion size is perfect. The ribs were a little dry and the brisket wasn’t as tender as I’d hoped. The flavor was on point though and the sauces are great. I’ll have to go back again and check out more of the menu.

Wow… came here with a co-​worker while on business traveling. I’ve been to a few BBQ places around the US and without a doubt I have never had better/​bigger pork ribs anyway (maybe S.C. was equally as good). My coworker got the brisket, pulled pork and was also very impressed. I don’t think you can go wrong here with anything.
There wasn’t a great variety of sauces, but it wasn’t necessary. What they had was great and you didn’t want to use to much anyway, since the flavor and tenderness of the meat was so good, you didn’t want to take away it.
Lastly, the host and waitress were also extremely nice and attentive.

Came here after pig in pig out ran out of brisket. The food was good but I had to have it with the sauce. The meats were good but needed the sauce to make it complete. The service by I think her name was Maria was very good. She was kinda cute too with all her tatoos look lol. This would be a great place to catch a game with all the tvs and food.

Was not disappointed at all! Staff. Amaze balls! Atmosphere. Wonderful! Love all the art work. Astros vs Rangers game on so that rocked for this Texas girl! Food on point! Sangritas perfect. Price was right. $ 5 each. Love that! Will be back…

So, first off this review is regarding their catering.
I was a little stressed out about planning a party from out of town and trying to take care of everything from 7 hours away. Thank goodness for Bite Me and Cole. Cole made a catering order from out of town very easy. I had my Mom go in and make the order and we came into town to pay for the order when we were picking up. They never gave me any hassle or grief about anything. For pricing it is better to call as it can fluctuate due to market pricing.
The food was good and seemed to please most every one. However, I thought the brisket was a little sweet and several of us thought the pasta salad had too many onions but I imagine that is all about personal preference. Also, they provided serving utensils for each dish.
I would most def recommend Bite Me BBQ for your next BBQ catering need.

One of my co-​workers talks about this place all the time so I decided to give it a try. I was surprised at how nice it was inside. It has a fancy full bar and art all over the walls. Definitely not your average BBQ joint décor.
The mustachioed bartender was super friendly and helpful. I ordered the sliced brisket, which was so packed full of flavor that I was not at all surprised to hear that they slow smoked it for 18 hours. The sides of baked beans and mashed potatoes topped off the smörgåsbord of deliciousness.
It’s obvious that Bite Me takes pride in their business and goes the extra mile with everything. The food is delicious and carefully prepared. The service is top notch and the restaurants atmosphere and looks impressed and surprised me.

Located off of St. Francis, across the street from the Intrust Bank Arena. I used to live just around the corner from this place and so I’ve been able to try a few different things on the menu. Overall the restaurant is a good one, some times the ribs are on point, sometimes they’re a little dry.
Make sure you order the bloody Mary if you’re thirsty! It comes with a rib, pickle and a hot dog. Must try!
