Great beer, great people, great prices. Their imperial stout is the best I have had. Owners/Bar tenders are awesome to chat with.

My fiancé and I are Wichita natives, and were back in town over the holidays. Loved getting to experience some of ICT’s newest gems, including Central Standard Brewing! Central Standard would make a great venue for a small event: well-styled and very open, comfortable for a crowd. The staff was friendly and informative; they even gave us a free sample from the cask! The only reason I gave 4 stars out of 5 is that I’m not a big fan of their main offerings(Belgians, sours, wild/brett beers). My fiancé loved all of those, however, and I really enjoyed their Tenderfoot Imperial Stout. Looking forward to stopping by again the next time we’re in town.

This place has it all… ambiance — refurbished retro furniture with classic board games at many tables and one of the best patios, with strung lights, in Wichita. Food is currently provided by a rotation of food trucks or they have boards of cheese, meats, trail mix, and nuts that compliment the beers real well. And then, of course, the beers! Start light with The Girlfriend. Give their Keef Richards(coconut) porter a whirl — yum! Then, end with their latest new beer. I really hope this brewery makes it big in Wichita! My group of 12 all enjoyed it.

I’ve only been to this place once and it was good not great. The beer was good and they had an interesting selection but I thought it was just a bit over priced. I liked the interior it has a cool vibe, the garage doors were open which was great for a nice fall day. The reason I did not rate this place higher was the staff was not very friendly it had a hipster vibe which I don’t mind if it’s friendly but it felt like if you weren’t part of their crew they didn’t really want to bother with you. Hopefully this was just an aberration I plan on going back to give it another try and support a local brewer.

This place is a force. These are the beers I’ve been craving. They are creative and ambitious in their brews. I spent Halloween here dressed as a 70 year old man but still got great service despite my haggard appearance. My friend drank sangria all night which was amazing but might give you a cavity. Food truck’s outside, fun music. Yay Wichita!

Simply excellent! Great brewery, bringing a much needed hipster vibe to Wichita. Reminiscent of some of the greats in Chicago. Great staff, willing to explain their beers… and cool retro décor. The variety of beers offered, for being a local brewery is simply phenomenal. They really strive to hit many different spectrums and styles. Everything from Farmhouse ales, to saisons, to porters, even gose and grisette on the list this time! The Tawny Dancer– a candied saison!!! Really??? Where else can you get stuff like this in Wichita. Food trucks nightly out front, that rotate. Complimentary sparkling water, or filtered water. It’s fantastic. Go!

I visited this brewery on 10/11/2015, around 2pm it was my first time checking this place out. This Brewery ROCKS!, One of if not the best brewery in the city, a lot of different Beers on tap, I tried the Keef Richard(coconut porter), Issue, and the Wizard, each of the beers I tried were awesome. The brewery staff are putting 110% into this place. The atmosphere and décor are really cool, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable, great place to bring a group of people to hangout. I came for an event here a few weeks ago, on Sunday they had a Jamaican inspired party, they served delicious free Jerk chicken, coconut rice, pineapple and chips, and had reggae music playing. I’ll definitely be back again.

Central Standard has a great space. Awesome patio to enjoy when the weather is nice. Food trucks on the weekend. A couple of big TVs to enjoy a game. Whats there not to like, right? Well, you may not like the beer. Sour beers, they exist and Central Standard loves them. I hate sour beers. If you are like me you might find your experience here could be underwhelming. If you like sour beers then you will love central standard. Its not just one sour beer. All the beers are sour in one way or another. One of the beers made me feel like I was getting trolled. Was there Oct 9th with my sister, ordered moondog saison, neither one of us could finish it. I couldn’t imagine anyone liking that beer. It tasted like bad blue cheese. The only non-sour beer on the menu that night was a coconut porter. No thanks. You may be wonder why is this guy being an a-hole, trashing their beer but still giving a 4 star rating? I’ll tell you why. The girlfriend, the girlfriend is freaking fantastic. One of the better beers I’ve had in awhile. And the promise of the girlfriend will keep bringing me back for more.

Probably the best brewery in the region. 100% for sure the best brewery in Wichita. Killer beer, especially if you are into Belgian styles, wild ales, sours, mixed fermentation etc… The diehard beer nerds will be in heaven. Lots of firsts going on here. First foeder in Wichita, first puncheon, first crowler machine. These folks are really putting in 100% effort into making this brewery the best and most badass. The décor and atmosphere are top notch. Lots of cozy vintage seating, couches etc… Amazing bar design to belly up to for a few brews. Cool regional art adorning the walls, and kitschy tchotchke’s on the table. Brew house is in full view and if you get there early enough on a weekday you might even catch the crew hard at work brewing delicious elixirs! The smell of the grains is great! The huge garage doors open to a great patio in a quiet neighborhood complete with string lights, giant jenga and picnic tables. Bike friendly, and even the occasional mans-best-friend is welcome! CSB(as the cool kids call it) offers light snacks including meat and cheese trays to share, and an in-house blend of «party mix.» Most evenings there is a food truck outside to provide more substantial offerings. Don’t show up expecting a lot of «Bud Lite» substitutes, CSB is into full flavor and complexity. But don’t worry, from the«Girlfriend» on the lighter end, to «Keef Richards» coconut porter on the dark end — CSB has plenty of variety. For the non-beer drinker there is sangria(on tap!,) or a fruit-fizz non-alcoholic soda, also made in-house. Staff is insanely friendly and knowledgable, you can feel their passion for craft beer. The brewers love to tell you about their latest creation and tip one back with their patrons at the same time. If you love beer, then you will love love love Central Standard Brewing. Very highly recommended!

Great beer. Great service. «Girlfriend» is quickly becoming my favorite beer ever. The Brewmeisters are knowledgeable, and ready to talk about their beers. This is a place to not miss.

My favorite so far in Wichita – lovely beer selection(they are ahead of the curve, as most places are still obsessed with IPAs), the wall opens up onto the patio, and it feels more like a great gathering place than a bar! Always a food truck waiting to fulfill your needs. Just perfect – now, if only the happy hour were a bit longer…

Excellent new brewery near downtown Wichita. They did a great job with the space, nice big patio with café lights and they had a food truck available for dinner the night we were there. Inside is a mix of modern décor and older furniture like kitchen tables and couches and coffee tables. Great place to kick back and enjoy some delicious beers The sour beers were my favorite. The Sour Hatch Kid was outstanding. I also really enjoyed the Standard Model which is another sour they offer. IPA wasn’t as hoppy as I typically like but still very good. A very good addition to the Wichita craft brew scene and I will be back often to check out what new beers they have to offer.

Beer is fantastic! Casual environment. Nicely decorated. You can see the fermenters etc, as they are in the room with you. Growler fills, crowlers(a 32oz can they seal up for you!) Check it out! These folks like their beer!

Attended their soft opening and was blown away at how wonderfully executed the night went. You would assume a high paid stage director organized the stream of the evening, but it was just some very passionate owners and staff! Beer was fantastic along with the complimentary hor dourves. As the evening ensued, two very large glass paneled garage doors lifted above our heads becoming the ceiling inside. The patio area became exposed and scenery was endless. Contemporary picnic tables add a humble and warmth that create comfort. They create the comfort of speaking to others on a completely random note. I have always had great experiences and love visiting for the beer and experience.
