Fun! It is a dive, but it is fun. Great talented musicians. The musicians have a wonderful knack of interacting with the audience and are quite capable of playing any genre of music. The musicians rotate in and out. Great way to stay fresh and avoid breaks. So the entertainment is continuous. The service was good, not great. They did forget about my drink order, however I went with it and let it go. The staff is adequately friendly. Not overly interactive or engaging, I did see one staff member smile. All that being said… it was fun and if the opportunity came up again, I would not hesitate to go again.

A great alternative to the entertainment options elsewhere in ICT. Talented musicians playing covers old and new, engaging the crowd and having a good time. The upstairs lounge offers DJs as a change of pace. A great option for a large group.

This place just isn’t anything to get excited about. It’s not the worst bar you’ll ever go to but it’s far from the best. Can’t say I would recommend.

This place used to be fun but now it’s a piece of shit. Last call is at 1:25am and when the lights just turned on they are booting me out and forcing me to finish my 8 dollar drink in a matter of mins. It was 1:35am and I got grabbed and shoved out because I said one thing about giving me time to finish my drink. Terrible place and never coming back. I used to spend a lot of money here but not a dime more.

Talk about going from being one my fav places to hang to being one of the most disappointing places to go. We used to come here all the time and enjoy your band, people, and fun! It been a year and I thought it be great to stop by, that lasted 20 minutes and we left. It was dead and the upstairs now plays music Nothing like it did before. I feel like it’s not the same Ernie Biggs I fell in love with. I don’t see myself stopping in again anytime soon but if I do hopefully they can change a few things back to how it was before.

Don’t bother, used to like this place but more of a thug security type of place… if you buy a drink for someone they like they’ll toss you …

Had a good time, but the entire time my group was there, not a single waitress stopped by our table. Very disappointing to have such bad service — we had to go to the bar to get every drink. They played lots of popular songs, but each person at our table put in requests and paid $ 5, and only one song out of the group’s got played. Seems like they play what they want and what they feel the crowd will like — rather than what is being paid for.

What a BLAST! I’d never been to a piano bar before, so had no idea what to expect. Yea, it’s an ‘experience’ to say the least, but so fun for something different. The place was crowded, but the wait staff was always prompt and friendly.

A little cheesy but fun. It is a it extravagant to pay $ 5 a head charge to make the reservation plus a $ 5 cover. I did put $ 20 on the piano to have someone called up who never was. That was a downer. Actually later in the evening they sang about fingering and licking pussy. This ruined the whole evening and I was mortified that I brought my relatives

I was there last night and it was worth the $ 5 cover charge. There were 3 people alternating on the piano and taking requests with a drummer in the background. Billy Joel, Stevie wonder, of course Radio and other hits were crowd favorites. The place is separated into 3 distinct areas. I’ll have to finish this review later.

Good crowd, good service, nice place to go have some fun and listen to great music. This is a high class place that charges a low cover that you will not regret. Would re come d it to anyone. Must see in Wichita.

Decent food, good staff, awesome music. We ended up here and do not regret it. The musicians aere good and funny. They play every song you can imagine. And, of course, they take requests. The security staff was nice too. We had a great time.

The service staff was great, the bartenders were fun, and the pianos were amazing… what more could you ask for on a night out with your friends !

Cool when someone takes your purse and steals all the money from it and then mysteriously shows up at the bar and they don’t say anything but just gives me my purse. I dunno I just find that very sketchy. It’s like they almost know who stole 100 bucks from my purse… Be careful guys, people steal there and the bar doesn’t help you(or care).

This review is mostly in regard to the reservation process. I contacted Ernies well over a month before the date of my sister’s bachelorette party. It was impossible to get a human being to answer the phone(even during business hours) so I had to go through their website/email. I had to pay a $ 5 a person in advance just as the reservation fee. This fee was non-refundable. And it was not provided in a secure way. I was told via email that to secure the reservation, I had to either EMAIL my credit card number or call and leave my credit card number on their voicemail. I picked the email option… and then waited… and waited… and waited for a response that they received the info and the reservation was secured. How is it 2014 and this business is so far behind in technology!?! When we arrived at the bar on Saturday night, they checked every single person’s ID. I get it — but we had one person in the party that forgot her ID and she looked well over 30. And yet, they refused to let her in. This was comical to me, because the average age of patrons was around 40. I didn’t see very many people in the establishment that were borderline drinking age. It was really hot in the bar and for late May, I can’t even imagine how warm it gets in July and August! There were several over served patrons in the bar that night and I questioned the number of DDs in attendance as well. There was one very drunk girl sitting behind me that whenever she would stand up and then try to sit back down in her chair, she would miss her seat and fall. This happened at least five times. I don’t live in Wichita, but if I did, I would not come back to this place. It was dirty and the people were just gross.

NEVERAGAIN We had reservations in March with a group of 16 people when we arrived there was a sign on the door that said they were closed with no explanation and they had taken a deposit from our party that we are still fighting to get back THIEVES

I have been three times with the same results. This place is a low budget mess. I have been to the one in K.C. which is much classier. The drinks were served in dirty glasses, they had absolutely no non-alcoholic drink options for designated drivers other than soda(no O’Douls, no virgin cocktails, no nothing). Staff is a not very professional in dress or demeanor. Later in the evening a bunch of kids came in(most of them looking like they could barely be 21), they were loud, obnoxious and uninterested in the piano show. Wish Wichita had a classier FUN option for the over 30 crowd.

I kind of feel like if you’ve been to one dueling piano bar, you’ve been to them all. But for Wichita, there’s definitely the unique factor going on with a place like this. Ernie Biggs says they don’t take reservations for groups, but when you get there, there are clearly tables reserved for big groups — so that’s confusing. Our group of ~10 put on a list to sit at a table only if the reserved party didn’t show up by the time the show started(they didn’t, so here’s a tip if you possess magical powers and get a reserved table — you can’t be late). You can request songs but no surprise they have their favorites and crowd pleasers, and obviously the more money you throw in with the request the more likely it is to be played. There were 3 performers and at times one of them would be playing the drums or guitar so that’s a little different. Many birthdays and bachelorette parties, they have fun with getting people up on stage and are regular comedians with the patrons. Service was quick considering how crowded it was, but the alcoholic drinks seemed to be pretty watered down.

Ernie Biggs dueling piano bar just opened this month in place of the gas lamp grille. I love me a place where you can drink, and participate with the other drunk patrons. We got here around 10pm and the place was packed. There was no where to sit and we had to stand. I guess they have a seating area which gets reserved quick. Eventually people left and we got to sit. I anticipate it being pretty busy since it just opened this month. The crowd is an older crowd, reminded me of my Cali days partying with the housewives of OC(cougars, if you’re not familiar) and they seemed to have their fun too. Drinks were downtown/old town decent. The entertainment consisted of 2 pianos on stage(hence the dueling part) a drummer and some guitars. The entertainers would take requests from the crowd for free and play what they knew. If you really want your song to be played and they know how to play it you have to put your money where your mouth is and leave a great tip. I heard some Katy petty, ke$ha, Bön jovi, the cranberries and some naughty limericks. They know how to get the crowd going for sure. People were dancing in the aisles, up on tables, sneakin on stage dancing. We had fun for sure and would totally come back with a group of friends.
