I love ReStore. It’s basically a thrift store for home improvements. As far as I understand, they take donations of old items removed from houses. You can find a huge variety of items including sinks, doors, ceiling fans, light fixtures, leftover flooring and lumber, rugs, cabinets, furniture and more. It’s run by a non-profit organization and they work to provide quality and affordable homes for low income families. One of the most exciting things about ReStore is that you never know what you are going to find here. I almost always check here first before going to Lowe’s or Home Depot because the prices are hard to beat. I once came by with a friend of mine and he purchased a stove that would have cost him $ 1000 or more new, for $ 300.
