HuHot Mongolian Grill

The food here was ok. The service was excellent. Mostly, I just think this place is WAY overpriced unless you have a huge appetite. For this price, there should be some better seafood like shrimp and scallops.

This place never disappointed me. I enjoy the choices, the sauces, the veggies, catching the guys cook them all together and finally, eating until I can’t move! I love this place!
Take out makes you miss out on the all you can eat, but sometimes you gotta go!

Unsanitary. No personalized service (including the grill cooks, whom were not interacting with customers). Food selection was limited and not fresh. Food preparation was not what most Hu Hots provide.
VERY DISAPPOINTED with this location and it apparently needs to be visited by the Health Department… stat!

Went today at 3, sad shadow of what it was, no and I mean no service, as reported before cooks just talk to each other and don’t really do anything but talk to each other, selections are half what they used to be, this once good place I will say again, just sad, will not ever return, if you haven’t been there for a year it’s not what you remember

It was expensive for 1 Trip around their ‘Buffet’.. The meat was ‘Shaved’ and flavorless! My Daughter and I arrived right after they opened and the vegetables, although ‘Fresh’, seemed like they came out of a Ziploc — not freshly cut.
My Daughter had just been to a Mongolian BBQ in Kansas City and was telling me the difference in these meals. We only took one trip and they wouldn’t let my Daughter take her leftovers home. It was a $ 30 dollar lunch. Felt ripped off!
The place was clean and the Server did ask us if we had ever been there before, when we said ‘No’ — he proceeded to show us the ‘Buffet’. I picked their ‘Kung Pao’ which was supposed to be Spicy. I also added a ladle of Garlic Oil. The Chef at the Grill attempted to make it interesting while he grilled. But offered no seasoning The end product was really bland.
With 2 Meals and 2 Beverages — it was $ 26.62 plus a Tip. Then they wouldn’t let my Daughter take her leftovers home. I was disappointed.

If you’re looking for a sit down spot with decent food, that’s cheap, and that’s quick (hour or less) then try this Mongolian grill. It is all you can eat but you can’t take any doggie bags so make sure you have an appetite so you can try all the different combinations you want/​can while you’re there. It’s by no means a upscale restaurant but it will get the job done in a pinch.

when i am craving Mongolian grill, this is my go to place! Prettiest waitress staff, friendly grill guy and the manager is an awesome guy. He helped me with my rewards card and made sure my birthday meal was a winner. Its my favorite in town

My family has been to the restaurant several times and each time was enjoyable! There was something there for all of us, even my picky eaters. My little ones enjoyed being able to pick what they got to eat and had fun getting to watch it cook. The chefs were very personable and interacted with all of their patrons. The wait staff has always been on top of things and we never had to wait long for our drinks or appetizers. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food here is really great. How can you go wrong when you get to create your own meal with meat and vegetable choices. The sauce bar is really cool and you can go as hot as you want or over the top flavorful. The cooks are really nice and super attentive.

Better than Genghis grill. All you can eat goodies, whether you like noodles, meat, veggies, or whatever combo of those, hu hot always pleases.

If you know how to pick the right combination of ingrediants with right combination of sauce this is the place. My first visit and stick with the one bowl notice. Regulars not doing it and if u stick to one bowl u end up going there multiple times and standing in the line multiple times. Booths are better than the tables here.

Every time I come here, this place is busy! And for good reason. The wait time to be seated is usually pretty short (had to wait 45 minutes once for a group of 16… Reasonable if u ask me).
When you enter, you immediately notice how clean it is and that there is a fun atmosphere in the place. There’s a bar that always has sports on its big screen.
I’ve tried everything from their Mongolian bar, and I think the best meat is the pork, but they are all pretty good!
While your there, take some time to experiment with the sauces, and add A LOT of sauce (you’ll have dry food otherwise). The sauce makes or breaks the flavor, so read their suggestions and go from there
The chefs are the highlight. If you interact with them at all, they will joke back with you. If you tip them, they will remember and put on a little more of a show the next time you come through

My wife and I tried this place for the first time a couple weeks ago and it was really good! They have a great variety of meat, noodles, veggies and sauces to try. And it is all you can eat so you can try a lot! I would advise you if it is your first time, to take a little and try a lot, so you can find out what you like!

Great place. Love coming here. The quality of the food is always good. Service is good too, consistently. It can get a little backed up at the grill during peak dining times, but that is to be expected. Only complaint is about the «ambiance» music. Turn it down!!! Way too loud in a place that is already loud because of the grill. Good dining, but forget a table conversation. Unless you want to scream at each other.

If you have been to a HuHot before, this one just doesn’t compare. The choices are just not the same. The chefs are lacking and more interested to talk to each other and acquaintances than to actually cook the food. My son lost more oyster than actually landed on his plate. The waitress brought us one small bowl of white rice (which was the only choice of rice) after we had to ask for it for five people and we had to ask for more when that little bowl was finished.

Its a neat place. I like that it didn’t feel as ghetto as some of the other Mongolian grill places in town. The meats are kept flash frozen until you have them cooked, which made me feel safer. The sauce combination menus are fun, and its a lot of fun to go in a group and compete to see who can make the best combination. I wish we had one here in CA with us.

HuHot Mongolian Grill is a spectacular choice when you’re in the mood for asian/​Chinese type food without going to a buffet. You get a bowl to put your noodles, meat, and veggies into. As much or as little as you want! It is all-​you-​can-​eat for the price. Not the cheapest place to go, but you will NOT be shorted on food. They cook it on a huge grill for you while you watch.
They also include an oil bar for you to season your dish exactly the way that you want. Service is fast and friendly and always with a smile. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Good place to go with friends, family, or a date.
TLDR:
Think of it as a more expensive and more gourmet asian-​style buffet, except the food gets cooked RIGHT before you eat it. Not cheap, but you’ll get your money’s worth. Good quality AND quantity.

Clean. Lots of variety of meats and veggies, but lamb would be nice. A little more costly than I’d like. Wait to get food can be long sometimes. 3 stars because I don’t know if I’d go there other than when company requests going

I had lunch here and I was very impressed. The décor is nice and open and the people are friendly. As with all of the Mongolian Grills I have tried before you build your own dish and the chiefs cook it for you. The meat selection was good with the usual pork, beef, and chicken, but there were also 2 types of fish you could use. There were I believe 3 types of noodles to choose from. The veggies we the usual selection of broccoli, carrots, bean sprouts ect.
The difference at Hu Hot was the large number of sauces to choose from. I wanted some of all of it but that was naturally not practical. I had the ginger and black bean sauce the first dish I prepared and it was very nice. It reminded me of dishes I had made at home. For my second round, you can go back as many times as you care to, I did a combination of the ginger and black bean and a spicy garlic and it was outstanding!
I would highly recommend Hu Hot for lunch, which took about 30 min and cost just under $ 10, or for a dinner date.
