Kind Kravings

SO GOOD. I’m no vegetarian or vegan, and this still knocked my socks off. I have had a sandwich and a few burgers from kind kravings and I have been thoroughly impressed. The burgers are full of flavor and it’s not just salty like some vegan burgers are, it’s actual FLAVOR BALANCE!!! Every time I go to the ict pop up park I make it a point to stop and grab a bite. Not only good food but very pleasant and personable server. Honestly I’m getting a kraving right now :-)

As I’ve mentioned, I’m not a vegan or vegetarian, but I still really like vegetables. I don’t like vegan foods that imitate the taste of real food, though, so the use of «cheeze» in much of Kind Kravings’ menu didn’t appeal to me. Thankfully, the rest of the menu items are real: the burger is a chickpea patty, topped with a hefty amount of spinach, tomato, onion, avocado, garlic aioli, and green chili cheeze sauce. Between the avocado, aioli, and cheeze sauce, you may think it sounds like a lot of gooey-​ness, and you’d be correct. It’s also necessary to help cover up the slightly dry patty, even if the bun became slippery as a result.
Dessert for the day was homemade ice cream on a homemade brownie. Knowing Kind Kravings’ aversion to dairy I’m not sure what was used to make the ice cream, but you could tell it was a little icier than it should have been. The brownie was also a little dry.
I understand the kind of food Kind Kravings is trying to serve, and I realize that I may not be the target audience. The food is good enough to say that I reasonably enjoyed it, but not enough to actively seek them out again. I’d be willing to try some more items, but it doesn’t look like they’ve changed their core menu in several months.

Great food, nice people! Small selection, but the food is good so you can’t go wrong. Vegan, non-​GMO, & chemical-​free, so the food is tasty as well as good for you.
