Had a big table, a 12 top. Everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. And then the nice manager, David, who set out to make things right offered to buy us dessert. After we asked what they could do to even the score…(our meal took nearly two hours and maybe 6 or 8 send backs. Plates that never showed up… Prob 30 to 40 minutes between one member of our parties prime rib showing up and another member of our party who ordered prime rib as well.). This would have been okay if they’d offered to make it right some how. A table with 12 people next to us that sat down after us was finished by the time our apps started showing up which were made incorrectly… Endless issues. NOTRECOMMENDED!

Came in on a weeknight for dinner. Family of three. The service was excellent. The food, meh. It’s def. not bad and they have huge portions(not sure if that’s good or bad). Anyway, the veggies were good, the salads were decent but the steaks weren’t anything to write home about. My husband was unsure as to what to drink so our waitress offered him a couple of samples. We appreciated that, she did a great job. The bill was pretty high. We did have drinks and one of their pricier plates but it’s still high for what you are getting. I’d rather spend that money on a great, small local place. I think the main difficulty I have w this restaurant is that it’s a chain and the food just represents that. No unique flavors and very impersonal.

This is our favorite steakhouse by far. We have always had excellent service, and the food is great. From salmon to any of the steaks, You can’t go wrong! We visit here far to often! but the food is great and we can’t help ourselves

As a former longhorn employee(eons ago in a different city) I am a TRUELOVE of the company philosophy, the food, and the service. I live now in service state where longhorns don’t exist, so when I am in Wichita it is the first place I come. On this particular night we spent almost $ 100 for the 3 of us, tipped the server $ 20 and left. The food was delicious as usual. The service was good. No complaints, right? WELL we left right at 10 pm, they locked the doors behind us. There were still other guests finishing up their meals. We get to the car and realize… WELEFTTHEKEYSATTHETABLE! Of course, no one came to the door we were pounding on, no one answered the phone. My husband walked around the entire building trying to get someone’s attention. We saw many people come to the door and refuse to even ASK why we were banging on the door. It’s cold, we can’t leave the parking lot. We waited for 15 mins for someone to come to the door. The manager was rude. He told us we needed to leave and he couldn’t help us. He said for«security reasons» he couldn’t let is search for our keys. We asked him to search for them for us but he stood his ground behind a locked door. Keep in mind we were guests at their restaurant not 15 mins early. I know for a fact that that is NOT the«personal touch» that longhorn strives for. I understand the security implications of letting us in, however there were other customers eating still. They didn’t need to be rude. We will never be back.

Great place to eat. Fantastic steaks. Best in town! Love their winter brie salad, wish they had it all year!!! Service is great, both at the bar and in the dining area. A little pricier than most restaurants in the area but well worth it!

I ordered the lamb chops with strawberry pecan salad on the side. The lamb chops came cooked medium with right softness and flavor, perfect with horseradish mashed potatoes and spinach. I had sangria with it, service was great, waiter was very accommodating and food came fast.

Hands down our favorite place to eat. We make a 120 mile round trip everytime we do and it’s worth every minute of the trip. Great food, great service and wonderful atmosphere,… unbeatable.

The lobster dip is to die for. Service varies depending on time of day and the size of the group. They also have an amazing prime rib and Mac n cheese. Definitely on my list of favorites for the area.

Horrible experience. Late on presenting order. Not a lot of patrons and still took 30 minutes to slice a piece of med rare prime rib. Food was cold and missing portions. Sent order back and canceled order. About ten minutes later they brought me my same sampled portion and the shrimp scampi they forgot. Manager compensated whole meal including my wife’s meal. Which was warm and she did not complain. We share her steak. With was nice if her to do. Tip waitress not her fault. Do not visit this restaurant. The best we have had in Wichita is Texas road house. Chester’s Chop house which we can’t afford. And Scotch & Sirloin. Any other is bad. Even the Applebee’s is horrible. Texas Road House has been the best. No joke!

One of my favorite places to eat in Wichita. Their Prime Rib is outstanding I have never had a bad meal here, and I have never had a steak that was over cooked. Their burgers at lunch are awesome

The best steaks I have ever had have come out of a Longhorn Steakhouse, and I’ve eaten at some supposedly classy places before. The steak I enjoyed at this location wasn’t the best, but it was a juicy, flavorful, and well cooked KC Strip. Great side dishes and reasonably priced. Bit of a wait during busy times so I’d get a reservation for primetime(especially Friday night). The service was good. 4⁄5

Been here a couple times and had great service both times. The food was fantastic both times as well. Only complaint is called ahead on a Friday night and was told 30 minutes. Allowed 20 minutes to pass before heading up there, only to be told it would be ANOTHER30 – 45 mins. At one point I asked the host where we were at on the list, he proceeded to tell me we would be sat next and that 17 tables had been there for more than an hour and a half.(I’ve managed a restaurant before, and for him to say that was unnecessary.) 17 tables means kitchen problems, NOT lingering customers. I wouldn’t go back on a busy night, but still love the food.

First time I have ever been to a Long Horn steakhouse… First the hostess told us a 30 – 35 min wait after 45 I asked how much longer; she said at least another 20; we ended up waiting an hour. If she had been honest in the first place we never would have waited that long with 2 kids… finally get to the table our waiter is no where in sight, after 10 min a waiter(turns out to be ours) goes to the table next to us and starts shooting the sh*t with them, so after being seated for at least 15 min he finally gets to us. they are out of a ton of food. I asked for my kids meals to be put in immediately, they took almost 45 min to get to the table(hot dog & cheeseburger) not to mention he never asked how we wanted our steak cooked then when it had been aprox 30 min after we ordered we asked how he decided it was going to be cooked; he said uh to be honest I havent even put in your order yet. He finally gets drinks and bread to the table & pretty much slams the dishes down at us then runs off. The manager was brining stuff out but never asked how anything was, no one did. I get the bill and it was a lot more than I thought it should have been… I will say they have good food but service wise they need to make improvements!!! I overheard other customers there tonight that were complaining and no one seemed too pleased with any of the service provided. 1 hour wait time to get to table 15 minutes to finally be greated by a waiter 1.5 hours for dinner as food took forever to get out to our table(probably because the waiter took 30 minutes to put in our order)

I’m converted… I ate lunch today and the service from Christine Y. was great and the Manager Jason introduced himself and checked on our experience. I had the shrimp appetizer and a salad and my colleague had a prime rib sandwich. Christine was very attentive and took great care of us.
