I got various tacos but the tripe was superb! The service is awesome even if she always asks if I know what it is!

The food was good but really expensive for what you get. I got food to go and you get charged for the chips and salsa. If you eat it there you get unlimited amount, doesn’t really make sense. The burrito I got was really greasy, made it a big sloppy mess with the chili verde smothered on it. Much better places in the area, I’ll probably skip this one for awhile.

I stopped in here after playing golf one Saturday afternoon, and it was very good. I had the tacos, which came on 5″ flour tortillas, and they were pretty amazing. This is one of those small, hole-in-the-wall treasures you always hope to find. You really should try it.

I had the Tacos Pork Bistek, which come with cilantro, cabbage and onions on them, and grilled onions on the side. I got their delicious green AND red sauces and it was an amazing meal. Everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. I can’t wait to go back!

Food was excellent and the owners were friendly, coming out to talk with us and others. This place is all about the food, not some kind of fancy dining experience. If i lived in Wichita I would be a regular for sure.

We love this place! We’ve tried many items on the menu and haven’t found anything we don’t like. Family favorites are the Carna Asadas, crispy beef or chicken taco and the Chimichangas. It is a favorite of our church small group! Unfortunately we have outgrown their space. The service is always gracious and timely! We like it so much we tend to eat there weekly or bi-weekly!

This place is amazing!!! Got the jumbo fajita burrito smothered with chili Verde and shared a few different tacos with my husband. The barbacoa tacos were delicious as well as the fried flour beef tacos. Asked for sour cream and they brought out 3 squirt bottles, one filled with sour cream, one was a delicious spicy avocado sauce and a chili sauce. This place is a must try!

All the food here is delicious. I’m not exaggerating– I’ve tried most of it. My favorites are the crispy beef tacos, Barbacoa street tacos, the chimichangas… Well, you get the idea. It’s amazing. This is a don’t miss place, so stop in today.

Simple little dining area, very understated. Best fried shell tacos in Wichita served hot and not greasy. Shell had great flavor and left a wonderful after taste on your tongue. Salsa fresh but timid, ask for the hot salsa. The hot salsa was great spooned on the tacos. Guacamole was course cut with rough cut onions. Very fresh. A very tasty surprise! Chips were OK, better with ground salt from table top. Better if served warm. Beer was ice cold, husband, wife owners were friendly and very nice. Can’t wait to go back and explore the menu.

Great place, everything is fresh and tasty. The prices are cheap and affordable. That makes it a 5 star Mexican Restaurant.

Delano has the widest variety of restaurants in town, but despite having the city’s only creperie, the city’s only Chicago hot dog, and the city’s closest approximation of New York-style pizza, its selection of Mexican restaurants has been extremely poor. Thankfully, that omission has been corrected with Los Pinos, a fairly run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant for other Wichita neighborhoods, but a breath of fresh air on west Douglas. What do I mean by typical Mexican restaurant? It’s tiny, it hasn’t completely made you forget about the previous occupant of the building, it’s a husband and wife team, and on the Saturday I visited there was one table with customers; another table occupied by the the kids, who were in themselves watching TV on Mom’s Galaxy S3 . (A cool sign that the future is here: I mistakenly forgot to bring enough cash to cover my meal. When I presented my credit card, the lady retrieved her phone from her kids, plugged in the Square dongle, swiped my card, and resumed the TV show for her kids) I ordered tacos, of course. Pork, beef, barbacoa and al pastor. The pork and beef were fairly ordinary, but the latter two were quite good — the barbacoa tender and a little smokey, the closest I’ve seen in a while that explains why the word serves as the genesis for our American word«barbecue». The al pastor was marinated well and crisped up nicely on the grill. Double-wrapped with cilantro, onion, and cabbage, as it should be. The red salsa I received was speckled with plenty of chiles and their accompanying spice, plus just a little bit of tomato to round it out. This, combined with the cabbage on the tacos and the option for longaniza sausage rather than the typical chorizo, points to a Mexican restaurant that’s just a little bit different from what you might find in a lot of the other places around Wichita, and a hell of a lot different from what you’re used to finding in Delano.

This is a very cozy, tiny restaurant(only 5 booths total in the seating area). Four of the booths were occupied during the time I stopped in. The menu is predictable and the food is good. I ordered fajitas and they were presented well. I asked for a hotter sauce for the chips and meal and it was provided… just right. They have a drive-up window as well, and may need to encourage that end of the business with such a small seating area.
