I was a resident for a year and a half and only moved because I moved to Arizona. I enjoyed living at Maple Ridge a lot. It’s in a nice area, and it’s near a lot of places like Target, Walmart, Gordman’s, The Mall and plenty of eateries. The staff is nice as well, especially Sue, who was always in the office. I never heard my neighbors at all which is rare in apartments these days. In the apartment I’m in now, I can hear my neighbor cough and sneeze lol. I liked the fact that you need to have a key to get into the building, just for a bit of extra security. I also liked the convenience of being able to drop my rent check in a drop box is the office was closed. There are a couple of cons though. Inside the building, the carpets on the stairs and walkways are pretty out dated and when you first walk in the building it kind of smelled weird but it wasn’t horrible and it didn’t flow into the apartment or anything. There’s only two washers and two dryers for one building. And when they are all in use, I had to wait because your key doesn’t work for the other buildings just your own. One thing I did find annoying was that someone would always opening the windows in the hallway when it was hot as heck outside or freezing outside. As my grandma would say, «Close the window, I’m not trying to heat/air condition the out doors» lol. The only issue I had was once the neighbor below me must’ve had a timer set on their radio because it started blasting at 4 in the morning and I called security. When they went into the apartment, no one was home. Didn’t have any bug issues. If there were issues with anything, maintenance was there promptly. I highly recommend Maple Ridge to anyone. Apartments fill fast so make sure you decide quickly!
