I was born in 79′ and have been coming here as long as I can remember. This is a damn good place with a flavor of its own. Owner Ray and His brothers can cook! You will find a few family secret recipes (foil chicken) on the menu original only to Mings! Get the Lo Mein! Get it all! It’s a very delicious place to eat. The overall establishment is very aged and could use a good update.

Don’t let the funny traditional sign out front scare you off. I had the sweet and sour chicken, which is what I always get at any Chinese place when I’m traveling. The chicken was good however the sweet/​sour sauce was super plain, as was the brown rice and no veggies with the chicken. Egg drop soup tasted burnt but was good aside from the burnt taste.
The employees were all super nice and it seemed they knew every person in there by first name taking on and off while they ate. Place is somewhat clean, except the bathroom.
I’m giving this a two star based on my meal yet the friendly environment I saw bumps it to a 3 star.

One of my long time favs. I’ve been going here since they opened, watched their girls grow up, as my daughter grew up too.
My favorite is old style dry lo mein. It’s not on the menu.
Ray and his wife are the owners. I make sure to eat there every time I’m in Wichita.

I finally gave in and tried Mings since my daughter goes on and on and on about it. I have no clue why anyone would eat there. Who on Earth washes and reuses chop sticks? They are wood for goodness sake! My fiancé‘ and I got two different combination platters so we could try several different things and I think the only thing we ate all of was the donuts. Just disgusting! If there were negative stars I’d give it a negative –5.

The Hot and Sour soup is an institution quality dish… it is not like any I have had elsewhere and will drive from Valley Center during rush hour to get it … HOT Food .I mean really hot as you can easily burn yourself if not careful. …Employees very polite and efficient and will learn who you are very quickly. Very Reasonably (cheap) priced for what you are getting… I think this is one of the most overlooked places in the area and have never had a bad experience there…

Nice place been opened for years. Food is pretty good I usually get the shrimp lo mein it is really good. It is ran by nice people if you go in here a few times the guy that owns it will remember you forever. Portions are good, quality is good. Nice place to set down with friends and enjoy a meal together.

Reminds me a lot of the now closed Alberts. Been several times and it never disappoints. Service has consistently been excellent. Love the sweet n sour chicken, sub gum chow mein, egg rolls are the best! & love the sweet donuts before the meal. Family owned & operated.

Good service. Food was Very Americanized. Had Singapore chicken which was recommended by the staff and many patrons. It was very bland. I really wanted to like the food. My whole party was not impressed.

A classic Chinese restaurant. Also a great value. Everything is excellent. I enjoyed the Char Shu Ding. Dinner for $ 10 including rice, a side and Donut. They also brew a good cup of coffee.
Maybe I shouldn’t say, but you can connect to the WiFi at Popeye’s next door!

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in town; the food is delicious, full of flavor, and always piping hot. You must try the foil chicken; its their unique and signature appetizer. The service is great and super friendly. You must try this place when you get a chance.
