Me and my bf drive all they way here from the west side about 2 – 3 times a month just for their phở!

My husband & I had lunch here the other day. We arrived around 11:45am. The place was not busy. We waited a couple of minutes to be seated. Now ordering & getting food is a different story. Sat there for over 20 minutes with no water. They had only 2 waiters/cashiers and 1 cook. So we saw a different waiter walked by & grabbed him to order. Waited another 20 minutes for our Phở. They didn’t bring us any veggies so I had to chase down 1 of them to get some. After over 5 minutes, a plate of veggies arrived. I had never waited that long for 2 bowls of Phở before. Especially the place wasn’t busy. They were under-staffed. We didn’t dare to order anything else. Phở had the Phở smell but no taste. Overall, not happy with the wait & the food. Would never come back.

Love this place and it’s great they stay open late so I can grab a bite after I get off work at 9. Phở Tai, Chicken wings, crab fried rice, and crab po boy are a few of my favorite dishes here. I can’t wait to try their Lemongrass restaurant in Old Town that’s coming soon!

I came in and I had to wait 40 minutes until I got served. This was ridiculous. Not too happy with the service.

Been here on two occasions. Both times the phở was delicious, but the service was spotty the last time I came. Appetizers came out at the same time as our meal and had we had to remind our server about our drinks after having not received them for quite some time. Hopefully it was just an off night, because the phở is great!

I really like the different Phở, and they have so much to choose from, you are going to get a lot, so be prepared. I was a little disappointed with the service, as the place was not very busy and we had to wait for what I felt was a long time, not so much for the meal, but just to get a drink refill or the check. It was not enough to keep me away, I love the Phở.

Not sure some of the reviewers here have tried any other Vietnamese places in town, because this place is easily at the bottom. I usually get Bun Thit Nuong. Theirs is not unlike other places in town, but where this place fails is the taste of the pork, and the quality of the service. They are never very attentive, and seem distracted. They are never very busy, so I’m always wondering how fresh my food is. It’s not bad, but it’s not that good. At the risk of making the Unilocal overlords mad, I won’t list my recommendations, but Phở Hot is easily at the bottom of my list. Or second from the bottom, as the new Spring Ro now occupies the bottom slot.

We went once with a decent sized group. Literally an awful expierence. Every table was dirty. They took forever to take our orders. We waited 2 hours for food, mine came last it was a freaking sandwich, when I asked about it after waiting 10 more minutes for it the waiter tried to blame it on the cook. Sir, please I wait tables, you forgot. Then it took 20 minutes for it to come and was still cold. Just awful. I see that they have a sign about crawfish, which I love, but I’m not about waiting that long. I would have left the first and only time but we were there for a birthday lunch.

Finally! Cawfish done right! After leaving Texas 3 years ago, I’ve been missing fresh crawfish. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, fresh crawfish! Yay!

Be aware when you call for extra food such as a small bow of phở soup… they charge $ 2 for each without your acknowledgement. I would rather to order a large size of phở for 8 $ than 5 small bows of soup for baby with nothing in it. Such a terrible service!

My family wanted to come here for the crawfish, but was told they did not have it that day. Their bo luc lac(shaken’ beef) plate(overpriced at $ 16 and loaded with grilled onions) was pretty good. Meat was very tender. Their grilled pork chop plate was good. Kinda wished it came with a side of broth like most places. Their grilled chicken sandwich was good, but they did not specify that it was curry flavored. My fiancé was not a curry fan so he did not like it too much. His sandwich plate came with fries. We chuckled at that. Americanized, maybe? Spring rolls(summer rolls) had a weird taste to it. Overall, good portions, nicely presented dishes, nice staff. Prices are high on some items. Big menu. Wouldn’t mind eating here again.

Excellent Vietnamese food! I had the chicken noodle soup which was excellent. My bowl had a great ratio of meat to noodle to broth and was very flavorful but my friend had the beef soup which a bit lacking in the meat department. Still tasted good, however. Very courteous and friendly service.

OK Vietnamese in a nice setting. The shrimp was very good tasting and texture(as if it were wild caught). I had the mixed(beef or pork, shrimp-2) noodles, with two small spring rolls. The sauces were good with the noodles, fresh bean sprouts and shredded lettuce. If you want alcohol, it’s bottled beer at $ 3 – 4 per. The firecracker shrimp appetizer was good too. If I’m saying the word ‘good” too much, it’s because that’s how we both felt about this place.

The Phở was fresh, delicioso, flavorful, and better than I expected. I had just had Phở in Chinatown in NYC the prior week. This one far exceeded it. Spring Rolls were great complete with sauce. Service was excellent! Restaurant was very clean with a nice casual ambiance. I will be back soon! YUM!!!

Very surprised to find a good amount of Vietnamese restaurants in Wichita, KS of all places. I was impressed that this place was clean and had great service. Best of all the food was just as some of the restaurants in San Jose, CA. I had the grilled pork chop with rice. It came with a side of soup which was really tasty. I wish I had enough room to order the Phở too since the broth impressed me. The next time I’m here again I’m definitely going to stop in again. They even played Vietnamese music in the background. Adds all to the authentic feel right?

Interesting place. I was hesitant since they have a big banner in front advertising Cajun boiled crawfish, but went in anyways. I was happy I did. Service– excellent! Both the waitress and hostess were extremely nice. Food– good. I’ve had better phở but would come back again when passing through. I ordered an espresso with condensed milk hot. It came out in its own little coffee press. After figuring out how to make the drink, with the help of the friendly waitress, I enjoyed the espresso greatly, very strong but with the milk, it added a perfect touch of sweetness. Great experience. I will return.

I love Phở Hot’s Bun Bo Hue. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a noodle soup with spicy beef broth. It’s the best bun bo hue I’ve tried in town. I only go there for that and also their crawfish when it’s in season. Their crawfish is fresh and they offer two flavors: garlic butter or Cajun; I mix the flavors. It’s delicious for 6.99 per lb! Give it a try if youre a crawdaddy fan! Better than Bai Wei :)
